Belford's Savannah Seafood & Steaks

Not worth eating at. Server (middle aged bearded man) carded me but not wife, we're both 40. Asked him why he didn't card my wife, he gave some nonsense about how it's the way I ordered it and he's been doing this for 20 years and he knows. I've been legally ordering alcohol for almost 20 years, so he doesn't. He could have just apologized for making my wife feel old, but he didn't, and was downright rude going forward. So we left, this business lost a party of six and its associated revenue, apps, drinks and desserts. Our friends agreed we were right to be offended.

Amazing! We were going to leave because we thought the lunch entrees were larger than we wanted today. The hostess asked us to stay. The owner came over and said whatever the problem was the answer is yes! We were delighted by the food, the service, and the personal attention of the owner. The best restaurant experience I have ever had!

We had the fried chicken and mac and cheese it was okay. The crab cake was the best thing on menu.It was moist on inside and crusty on the outside.Delicious in taste.My husband had braised short ribs it was awful brought out to table cold.And not looking appealing to eat.My husband ask waitress why is the plate cold it seems as if you just throwed this in a bowl and feed it to me like a cow.She replied they wash the dishes okay so what does that mean? She said she would get the manager she doesn't handle these things. Lady your our waitress. You speak for us to let kitchen know we weren't happy.Seem as she just washed her hands of the situation. Manager came out we told him what happen he apologized Took the braised ribs off bill. He seemed sincere. I come back.

Hi Today We were taking care by Z omg what can I say about her?? She was amazing very polite lots of communication skills she had she gave me a suggestion and what to put on my food. She was amazing so whenever you come here, ask for Z.!! The food was really delicious. I had filet mignon on top with crabcake and some baked potatoes in the oven. It was just delicious with asparagus.

Large portions for lunch. Yummy she crab soup and po boy shrimp. Wait staff very attentive.

The lump crab cake was one of the best we have ever eaten. The filet mignon was good cooked the way we asked. No choice of sides with your steak. You get asparagus (excellent, perfectly cooked), and fried potatoes were good. The keylime cheesecake was excellent. The atmosphere was a little loud, but that was to be expected with an older building and nothing to absorb the sound. Service was OK, by we expect much better when we are fine dining.

Tasty crab cake shared for appetizer, excellent BLT stack, mains of seafood linguine had great flavour if perhaps not all of the types of seafood promised in the menu. Seared scallops good, but saffron risotto had a strange flavor. Decent beer and wine offerings. Good knowledgeable and prompt service.

Wonderful place to eat. Food is expensive but expertly prepared. Wait staff is outstanding, and of course you are in Savannah, so the outside area on the market is lovely.
