Went for restaurant week and everything was delicious! The atmosphere on the balcony is lovely and the staff was friendly

Hi, I’m sorry to say it was my worst restaurant experience ever. I love Mediterranean cuisine and was very exited to try this restaurant. I ordered their braised chicken and mushroom risotto on the side but they served me burnt broiled chicken With some feather still attached to raw skin around the uncooked thick chicken breast after 1/1/2 waiting !!!! I finished my drink and left my chicken untouched and eat very little of mushroom risotto which had a very unpleasant flavor and smell like urine coming from their strange choice of mushrooms!. (( My apologies to readers.)) Any other restaurant would’ve offered me another dish or not charged me for the meal or simply offered me an apology but instead they arrogantly stood by their nasty uncooked chicken and their choice of mushrooms for risotto. I’m sorry to disappoint but I hope this helps the readers who hope to enjoy a delicious Mediterranean cuisine!.

We came here on the last day of restaurant week for lunch. The ambiance was very nice and we had a partial view of the ocean which was good. I had the lamb meatballs which were delicious and very tender. My wife had the hummus and the pita chips were delicious. The burger and grilled cheese for main course were both very tasty. The only thing that let down the meal slightly were that the chocolate torte and the lemon tart tasted like they were bought in rather than made freshly. The chocolate torte was a bit dry and the lemon tart wasn't set. They still had great flavour. Also props to the place not having a stupid restaurant surcharge. Parking: There is a covered parking lot directly behind the restaurant with two hours free for restaurant customers.

Excellent bar and excellent food and service

Enjoyed a delicious meal, good cocktails, and a nice atmosphere. The charcuterie board was great and the seafood risotto was rich and flavorful.

Overall, the location and food are great! But we reserved a space for a company party and the establishment made sure right at 7pm we were no longer welcome. It is not ideal to be treated that way after reserving a space for the price we were already planning to pay over and above for appropriate service i

We had the Brussels sprouts, the crispy chicken sandwich, the poutine and the lemon tart. Everything tasted so fresh and handmade. It’s been a while we haven’t tasted something like that in San Diego and around. It’s like for ones, the cooks tasted their food before creating the menu instead of just reading a recipe on the internet. We will come back for the food for sure. The sauces were also handmade and delicious, yet, an extra sauce will cost you $2 and it’ll be an unpleasant surprise when you get the bill. We wish we would have been told that beforehand. The restaurant is pricey, but what’s not pricey in the area? Honestly I’d rather eat where the food is good like this place. I’ll come back but I’ll think twice before asking extra sauce. Atmosphere, location, parking, view are simply perfect. Service is decent, could be better, couple misses (quickly rectified though) overall we were satisfied and we will be back. I’m French and I’ll switch to French for this last one: Je lis les commentaires d’autres personnes qui s’attaquent à la qualité de la nourriture. Je n’ai pas tout essayé au menu mais il me semble que certaines personnes ne savent pas apprécier les plats qui ont du goût. C’est comme donner de la confiture aux cochons. Moi je donne mon respect au chef car la carte a l’air savoureuse, tout semble frais et fait maison et c’est RARE aux US ! Une bonne adresse !

My husband and I had a wonderful time dining at Beeside Balcony. We began with drinks. I had the Mango House cocktail and my husband had the black lava margarita. Both were very flavorful. I highly recommend the Bee's Board, a delicious Mediterranean take on charcuterie. I generally don't do goat cheese, but the honey goat cheese on the board was my favorite. My husband had the crab cake. For dinner he had the pesto shrimp linguine and the pesto was very fresh! I had the roasted chicken, which was tender, but I personally wasn't a fan of the flavor. Overall a relaxing dining experience with a wonderful view!
