Beckon

As the Michelin star suggests, the food is incredible and the service noteworthy. You know that but do you know Annie? She was my server last March. I’m not one to leave reviews but this restaurant and her service are worth it. I’ve never seen such incredible food and service with so much kindness. The general atmosphere of this restaurant is accepting, you can wear what you want and show up as you are. The service reinforces this with fun facts, tips and replacing cutlery at each course to show you how to enjoy them best. The food was great, the planned experience by staff incredible, and Annie, our server, a delight. A year after eating here I remembered her, found her name in my notes and left this review. I regret it’s so late. Thanks Annie!

Beckon, and chef Duncan, are the best in Denver. Their Michelin star is well deserved. Courses are elegantly presented and highlights the foods well. Each course focuses on specific meats or Vegetables and raises them up to high fine dining standards.

Beckon is one the most memorable culinary experiences I've ever had. I would put it on equal to Frasca in Boulder. Everything about the evening was wonderful. For you and one special person, I would highly recommend booking the Chef's table for its romantic yet quietly-social ambiance. Beckon's chef beautifully extracts and honors the essence of each ingredient served during the eight, wonderfully diverse courses reflective of the season. It would be a shame to ruin the surprise in store for you by naming our favorites. Suffice it to say not one will disappoint in flavor or texture. I would also highly suggest trying the Sommelier's wine offerings for your first visit. They truly complement and enhance the flavors with each course's expertly-selected pairing. We found the staff to be knowledgeable and attentive and the service from everyone was superb. I am already anxiously awaiting the opening of next season's reservations so that I can book a next visit in the spring.

The food was amazing. That's why we went. Not a bite was left behind. It was fun! It was exciting! But.... the part of the meal I loved the most was the non-alcoholic beverage pairing. It was unique and some were as complex as the food. I laugh when I remember him saying 'I don't have any rules, I'm just a bartender'. Sir, you are a magician. Thank you for bringing the fun of drinking back for those of us on the wagon!!

From the first bite to the last, the experience was amazing. Such unique flavors. And the service! So special. The gluten free substitutes were incredible as well. A must add to your Denver dining bucket list.

The service was absolutely impeccable! Natalie greeted me as if we were old friends. I sat at the chef counter, and Lexi was very attentive, as was everyone on the staff. At one point, the sommelier accidentally topped off my sparkling water with flat, and before I could take a sip, he realized it and brought me a fresh glass. That attention to detail was present at every moment, by all the staff. After every dish I said to myself,'It can't get better than this', and it did!!! I watched the magic happen right before my eyes as the chefs plated the dishes, and my taste buds were still shocked at the deliciousness of it all!! Thank you for a phenomenal evening and a memorable dining experience!

Wow! We dined here for our 10 year wedding anniversary. This ended up being one of our most unforgettable dining experiences yet. Every time we thought the next bite of food couldn’t get any better than the last, the kitchen would bring out another mind blowing delicious bite. The food was so unique, delicate, and tasty. It was a full sensory experience. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcomed, comfortable, and taken care of. The sommelier Logan was extremely knowledgeable and recommended some really incredible wine. Chef Duncan and Allison have really created something special here. That Michelin star is well deserved. We can’t wait to come back and dine again. Thank you guys for an amazing anniversary dinner.

I highly recommend this elevated dining experience! i have hemmed and hawed about making this reservation for my birthday for a few years now (secretly hoping my husband would read my mind and book it for me). after always hearing such lovely things about the establishment, i finally just decided enough was enough and decided to treat myself in 2024. you purchase a multi course meal at the time of your reservation. buy the wine pairing. since you're getting fancy, just go ahead and spring for good stuff - hell, I bought myself caviar and flowers because YOLO. we had an 815pm reservation on saturday night. i wouldn't do it any other way. service was impeccable. i can absolutely see why they got their michelin star. food was superb, drinks were tasty, and dessert was fantastic. would return, would recommend. get your honey and enjoy an evening, just the two of you. don't try to make it four people - it's just a perfect date night. their website says to take a car service, and honestly, that's probably the only thing i would change about the night!! i usually take all the pictures, but i left my phone in my jacket, and that was EXACTLY the right thing to do to just live in that moment. so unlike my other reviews, no photos but no regrets. go see it for yourself.
