The service was very excellent!!! My glass at the table never got empty and the pasta was very delicious and all you can eat. Great place to grab food if you’re near Times Square!

I feel it’s important to write this review even though it’s many years ago I had booked this restaurant for my wife’s 50th birth birthdate way way in advance literally for five months in advance and it was for an early time as we had theater reservations it was about 5 o’clock I remember as we sat down to eat dinner after about a half an hour, the waiter came over to us and informed us that we had 15 minutes left to finish our dinner honestly thought he was joking that maybe they wanted to speak with you privately about my wife’s birthday or something but no, this was for real I question them as to how they could possibly be doing this and they said that they had another reservation at 6 o’clock and they needed us out to accommodate them. I stated to them that I had eaten here with my wife and we had brought family and friends numerous times, and I’ve never run into this situation. Could they accommodate us somehow, either at another table or whatever and it was a very special occasion They insisted that we had to leave and we hadn’t even gotten our entrées yet my wife started crying, visibly shaken as it was embarrassing and humiliating to us to be put in this position and everyone around was looking at them and us and saying that’s ridiculous. How could you do this to these people and on and on so I have no respect for Beccles. Wood never went back ever make sure I tell everybody how they treated us that day. The only one that said anything was the chef came out to us as we were leaving my wife was in tears and gave us his private number, and said if I can never do anything for you, he goes I had nothing to do with this. It was totally wrong and ridiculous. I thanked him and said I appreciate that but I never want to step foot back in this place again.

Pros: we got to our show on time. Cons: the food.

Becco did not disappoint. The bar staff and servers are top notch. The food is beyond amazing. The pork chop was the best I have had. Make a reservation.

If you want mediocre Italian in a timely fashion, this will definitely suit. The servers were quick and attentive. The food was pretty lackluster.

I can sum up in one word - stellar. From the servers, to management to quality of food. Both Sergio and Tim were extremely helpful. Their Osso Bucco was unbelievable - can’t imagine finding a better version even in Italy. We’ve been here on every trip to NYC - we will be back again!

They had my review removed so I will try to remember: accused my friend of ordering something else and was extremely rude about it even though I heard what she ordered and we were nothing but cordial and friendly. Added a 18% gratuity on a table of 4. It’s not a gratuity if the customer can’t decide on the amount.
