Fabulous place.

The burger was delivered cold. The fries were stale and cold, and generally without flavor. The overall atmosphere of the place is reminiscent of a high-end sports bar. Very expensive for what it was, and generally not worth the La Jolla gratuity.

The food was actually good! Unfortunately it was this person who made us sick. We don’t like this girl. She said we were crazy and bunch of other racist stuff.. She needs a lot training regarding basic minimum standards of behavior, respect, and understanding, that her job is dependent on the people who come here all the time to spend their money on food and drinks. otherwise she’ll never find a good man, or a job to keep her in check. And if she can’t dig these facts and rules she has no chance in any respective establishment. Because that behavior is low, mean, cruel, and stupid. She hates ANYbody who is not fat ugly, or dumb. We like to surround ourselves with quality and intelligent people. She wouldn’t last 2 days working for me. - Put her in the kitchen next time, so we won’t have to see them Hater face ever again, for the rest of our natural lives..(!) Eww

$11.00 for a pint of Blood 33 ale at 9:30 on a Teusday night when the place was empty. BRUTAL!

I will preface this with the fact that I NEVER leave reviews but honestly I have never had an experience like the one I just had. Place was very nice, front of the house was very friendly. Food came out before our Bloody Mary and coffee - no big deal. Bloody Mary was alright, nothing special. The real terrible part of this experience came at the food. My breakfast burrito was good, however something in there was extremely chewy - come to find out it was A LONG PIECE OF PLASTIC (I have some photos of it). It’s pretty insane that the kitchen didn’t see a piece of plastic that large in the food they are making. Who knows how much I swallowed. The part that really made me mad was getting charged for this burrito - what restaurant wouldn’t comp the plastic burrito. I did get another one made, but that is not what I wanted nor asked for. Why would I want double down on plastic burritos? End of the day, I think that situation could have been handled far better. I loved our server, but I think she could have taken the burrito off the bill. Don’t take this as a bash to the restaurant itself, all in all the place was solid: nice atmosphere and friendly staff. I just probably wont be dining there again because of my particular situation.

Highly recommend the burger. Pretty good aperol spritz too.

Great place to visit for lunch. We went there on a recommendation to have the coast toast and it did not disappoint…French toast made with Challah Bread and raspberry sauce…very yummy. Also along for the ride, an American burger with fries, excellent burger.
