Food was amazing. Drinks and service spectacular too. Excited to go back and try more items.
It was a good spot near the theater, we had high hopes for a great Korean restaurant. Reservations were easy to make, atmosphere was nice and was able to accommodate our party of 7. Some of the food was pretty good - the Pajun seafood pancake was delicious and done well. Cocktails were also tasty. Strawberry lemonade (non-alcoholic) was a bit pricey at $6 a pop. The Bipimbap was the greatest disappointment, it should NOT be called Bipimbap because it wasn't. Bipimbap is traditionally served in a stone bowl where the rice is not only piping hot but crisp and then layered with meat, veggies and a jammy egg. What we received was a bowl of rice (not even hot) in a stainless steel bowl with an overcooked egg, very sparse meat or any other acceudaments. The food wasn't hot at all and didn't resemble Bipimbap and frankly wasn't that great even if it was something different. I did let our server know at the end of our meal when he finally checked on our table. He looked disappointed but didn't offer anything to us due to 2 of our meals being pretty terrible. Unfortunately 20% gratuity was automatically added to our bill, at best it was 15% worthy. Perhaps a good spot for happy hour for cocktails and a snack.
The happy hour shift was not staffed properly to deal with the enormous amount of patrons. The food was not on par with other restaurants. Our waitress/bartender/cook was great and had a great attitude but she was not setup for success, I hope Marshawn is informed and helps to make some changes. Thanks.
The Ube mochi bubble waffle with karage chicken and hot sauce. Even delivered it was sooo good..noise of mic dropping on floor.
Service was great, we came for happy hour and wished there were more offerings. What we did sample was good.
We lucked out by visiting on Korean night. Excellent bibimbap and pint prices!
This tastes like if Applebees made Korean food
