The Grove Bar & Grill

Really wonderful location right on the beach of Lake Tahoe, and more reasonable prices than other places on the shore. The clam chowder bread bowl was excellent and the service was courteous.

What a gem. Best calamari ever. Food was outstanding. Bartender Kevin was super friendly. Had a great lunch. Really good menu with some basics and some surprising choices. Would highly recommend.

Beware, any review before March 2024 is for the Beacon. Google just pushed the Beacon reviews over to The Grove. The Beacon is gone, and so are the reasonable prices! The Grove has replaced the Beacon. The new management no longer wants locals business, which is quite evident by the price / value change. $29.00 for Fish & Chips, $25.00 for Fried Chicken. This is tourist pricing. They have no locals specials. Plan on $60+ per person + tip. No kids menu that I saw. Good luck to The Grove, surviving the off season. I used to go to the Beacon for a Bread Bowl of clam chowder and an Irish Coffee. No more, they have priced out the locals.

The food was excellent and the bartenders were very friendly. It also has one of the best views in Tahoe. Highly recommend!

Don’t let the 2k in reviews fool you. Those are from the previous restaurant and owners of the Beacon. The new restaurant Grove is way over priced and the food is below average. Just another price gauging tourist trap.
