Beaches Boardwalk Cafe

I wasn’t going to write a review but I feel like I should and I hope the workers see it. Our food was good and our server was nice and great. However, among the other servers all I heard was complaining about customers so rudely. The one who appeared to be the manager (pink bangs) was the the rudest. Blatantly complaining and rude to customers with so much attitude. Another server ate fries off of multiple plates before serving them. Highly disappointed in those 2 specifically.

The food is airport food, it's what you would expect. Service was fast, kind, and friendly. The drinks were not over the rop expensive like I had anticipated.

Over priced for what you get even considering the airport location. Order the tacos for $19.99. Tacos had very small pieces of fish… not worth $19.99. Would have had better value with a fish sandwich from BK. Food tasted good, but not worth the money. Service was quick and friendly.

We stopped in at Beaches at RSW today to grab a drink before boarding our flight home. There were two empty seats with the servers station between them, so I moved one to sit next to my wife (there was plenty of space for people to walk by us). Within seconds after moving my seat, an older employee with short hair and a grey beard grabbed my seat and pulled it away in the most rude manner imaginable. I didn’t mind their protocol but he wouldn’t even let me get my backpack off the back of the chair before rudely pulling it away. I’ve never encountered a more rude restaurant worker in my life. This guy should absolutely not be working in hospitality!!! We did relocate to a counter spot nearby and the server was very kind and attentive but we were already so offended. I normally would send this feedback privately but the restaurant has no phone number, email or website posted.

Not even sure how to rate this service to be honest. We were rudely addressed by a pink and black haired gal and a guy who was in clean up mode. They told us the only thing that was open was the bar and if we wanted food to go to Burger King. They were clearly talking about us amongst each other. It was clearly obvious they didn’t want to serve us. Our waitress was ok but swift to get us out of there. While attempting to enjoy a drink they blasted heavy metal. I’m guessing this is their “get out, it’s clean up time” music. If there was another bar on this side of the terminal I can assure you this bar would be closed in a heartbeat due to lack of customer service. If pink hair lady is a manager I would be finding a replacement!

The breakfast is terrible and way overpriced. Stale toast, microwaved bacon, fake egg omelet with no taste. And expensive! What a joke. Hopefully the lunch and dinner is better. Our server was pleasant but that was it. Save yourself $50 and go to the bagel shop across or Starbucks next door for a lot less money and much better options.

Nice servers. The ingredients in my cobb salad were the opposite of fresh.

*food/drink safety concerns from my experience* Wow what a place, drug down completely by a manager (it seemed) who hated his job and hated helping customers even more. He was very angry I came to the bar from our table after we'd been sitting with empty drinks for 15 minutes. Instead of, how could I help you he asked what I was doing at the bar. I managed to order two drinks and hoped I could just pay there but that made him even more mad. I walked away and he sent a call over the radio that our server needed to return because her table was being difficult. I could have written that off but then I noticed what he was so busy doing behind the bar. Picking his nose, rubbing his lips and then touching everything behind the bar. This was so gross. I expected nothing from an airport bar but this guy dropped the bar as low as it could go. (2/7 between 6:30-8:00pm, tall ish, white guy with grown, gray, balding short cut and speckled brown/gray beard)

This is the ONLY BAR in terminal B. The line was very long, but it didn't feel like a long wait. We visited at 5pm on a Monday. The male server was acting as host and maybe even a manger role? They seemed to be understaffed and overwhelmed. We finally got a seat at the bar (party of 2). We sat next to the serving station and there was this smell of sewage or dampness that we observed. Gross. We ordered our first round of drinks from the bartender and overheard her complaining about other members of the staff, lack of wine glasses available, and just overall frustration. I think it was extremely unprofessional. I am Celiac so I reviewed the menu and ask a few questions about gluten free options. The bartender declined having GF options other than chips. So I got a Caesar salad, NO croutons and dressing on the side. The salad came out with croutons on it and dressing on the side. Being Celiac, we cannot have gluten nor cross contamination of food items touching gluten products. I didn't bother saying anything because they seemed so busy and I felt more of an inconvenience. I stopped ordering drinks after this and didn't want to give this place a penny more of my money. Meanwhile my husband had an IPA and a burger. Burger was cooked well done when asked for medium rare but overall his experience was better than mine.
