Very disappointed. I have grownup here with the Beachcomber. We have brought 5-8 people to brunch at the bar every Sunday since Easter. Our meals, all 3 times never came out on time. Everyone received and finished their meals before mine even was served. Sunday, I waited for an hour for my Mahi sandwich! Unacceptable! I remember the old days with Steve, the heralded bartender. You never had to wait on him for a beer. The kid behind the bar never took off his sunglasses and never asked if we were ready for another beverage, never. There are maybe 18 seats at the bar? The beach doors weren't even open. 2 bartenders and the service was that terrible?? When I inquired about my sandwich, he said he was sorry but he "wasn't in charge of the grill". Really???The two previous weekends, the experience was similar. The young lady is the only asset out there. All of us are locals and have vowed never to come back. You would think that the family that owns the establishment would want their staff to go out of their way to please locals since "Season" is over. Sad, very sad.
Beautiful gem in Pompano Beach. Didn't stay, but went to visit, enjoyed the restaurant and facilities. Very beautiful
Rooms: Rooms were nice and clean. Terrace was great. Great views and plenty of space. Lounge chairs were comfortable. Nearby activities: About a mile from the pier. Shops and really good restaurants. Safety: Always felt safe. Walkability: Walked on the beach and on the street. Plenty within walking distance. Food & drinks: Food at the cafe was very good. Especially the asai bowls and the breakfast burrito. Great pina coladas.
Beautiful location. Friendly staff. Lovely beach bar and restaurant good service and delicious food!
Beautiful room and hotel! So close to the beach! Very pretty! Enjoyed every moment! Would certainly come back!
