Came in December 2023 and saw the good reviews. The fish tacos were beautiful, but the taco taste didn’t meld as well. It has a chipotle type sauce, slightly salty and the fish was breaded without much flavor. The birria in the loaded birria fries were really salty even with a bite of fries. The carne asada tacos had super spicy salsa on there and the taste was a basic meat, not particularly moist or tender. I typically finish my food, but the flavors are too excessive from the salt and the cheese, so not today. The atmosphere is nice, there is a beach like ground and a nice fire to sit next to. The server is nice, but most of the service is getting a jug of water on the table to pour yourself. The fries are also not gluten free so be aware!

Have been to 5 events here. Went to santacon and spent $80 (been to santacon once before)… this was unbelievable. I never leave bad reviews but this experience is worth the bad review. $80 to not be able to walk one foot (literally too many people to walk 2 feet) 80 to get pushed, stepped on, 80 to spend over an hour in line getting in. 80 to spend 30 mins waiting in line for two bathrooms for 5000 people. 80 for there to be absolutely ZERO organization. Event was so over sold and so unorganized. Will never be back.

We’ve been coming here since it was the Wave House. Still wish they kept that name. Anyways great spot and probably on the best people watching spots in Mission/Pacific. Love the big chairs and it’s a cool spot to just waste a day. Music is always going and it’s overall a really good vibe. Bartenders here are great. We used to come in weekly and hang out. Bartenders here have always been great and we never had a bad experience here. Not the cheapest place in town but pretty standard anywhere you go on the beach to eat and drink. Definitely worth it.
