BCD Tofu House

Our table ordered two L.A Galbis and both had raw meat. Not even near the bone, the boneless meat was red in the middle. Disappointing

BCD has become a brand name since its inception in the nineties. This restaurant has been incredibly consistent with taste and service. The taste hits the spot all the time. I’ve been away from NJ/NJ for 7 weeks and I came back today to NJ exhausted after 17 hr driving. And the first stop? No doubt, it was BCD tofu. Comforting, tasty, affordable.. enough reasons to make visiting BCD a biweekly event. My favorite is intestine BCD tofu soup, SPICY. It comes with complimentary stone bowl rice cooked to perfection every single time. Banchans are not their forte, but they are competent enough and pair extra well with BCD tofu soup & rice. It is noteworthy that visitors from Korea, including celebrities, dine at BCD (in LA mostly) when they travel to US. It says a lot about this BCD brand!

The cuisine is consistently tasty and of high quality. Completed plates are taken away without asking, water is promptly replenished, side dishes are refilled without a fuss, and the service is attentive and courteous. Friendly manager Jae goes above and beyond to ensure that customers have a wonderful meal experience.

It was Saturday, and we got there about noon. We waited for around ten minutes. However, there were a ton of people waiting to be seated by the time we left, which was an hour later. The friendly and efficient service was provided. We used a pay-by-phone app to park at a nearby municipal lot ($2/hr) because the communal parking lot at the shopping plaza was full (and small). Both of us placed an order for C1—LA Galbi Combo—BBQ Short Ribs with a Variety of Soon Tofu. The galbi had a substantial portion , and was tender. The "spicy" tofu soup had a great flavor that wasn't overly hot. Macaroni and cheese and blanched broccoli were my least favorite among the banchan side dishes that were served free of charge. They didn't seem right.

Authentic Korean cuisine in a laid back atmosphere. Menu is diverse and many surf and turf options (as well as vegetarian). Your choice of spice level and mild for me was just enough. Great video running of spicy food competitions sponsored by BCD. Definitely returning and highly recommended!

Never disappoints! Along with the service, the banchan and seafood tofu soup are simply the best part of it all.

Coworkers and I shared a wonderful dinner after work. The appetizers and the main dishes were all great. We order and share items.
