Didn't get enough pictures of the food. It was absolutely delicious. Had a good pre-valentines date. The service was amazing. The atmosphere was very relaxing. The server was so knowledgeable. We had a nice aged ribeye - it was huge and we shared it. Highly recommend.
service was so slooooow. 40 mins wait for my table with a reservation. wine service was slow, as was food service. understandable that they are busy on a friday night, however my server was nowhere to be seen to even give me an update. food was wonderul.
Wonderful food with a beautiful view of downtown.
This is our go to for the absolute best steaks in houston. Every single time my husband and I have been here the service and food have been superb. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. This past time we went on Houston’s restaurant week by accident so it was a little noisier and busier than usual but it was still nice and the service was still great. They had a great special for the houston week. We were celebrating my son 18th bday and spoiled him with b&b amazing wagyu. I got a 55-day dry aged bone in 22 oz rib eye cooked to perfection. We had sautéed mushrooms which my son loves mushrooms and he gave theses 5 ⭐️, asparagus they were lightly seasoned and tasty, and Brussel sprouts they more sweet than savory and come with pieces of bacon. Everything was delicious! I had a El dorado cocktail it has a pleasant sweet and tangy taste made with mezcal which I really enjoyed.
We were recommended this place and we were super excited to dine here. Overall we had a nice experience. The carpet bagger appetizer was amazing. We ordered a bone in Prime Ribeye Au Poivre an Au Gratin Potatoes. The Ribeye was a bit gristley but the Au Gratin was great. I did wish my steak was a little better but did have good flavor.
A superb experience for meat. Delicious steak and a great atmosphere. The fish seemed lacklustre as was the pasta. However I came for the bone-in ribeye and it was so good. Highly recommended for the meat.
First and last time! People are raving about this restaurant so we booked a table of four for dinner on a Saturday night. The staff was both unfriendly (the waitress showing us to our table was visibly crossed that we weren’t following her fast enough, she needed to move on to the next customers already!) and inconsiderate (hands reaching out -multiple times- between two people in obvious conversation to either put dishes on the table or take plates off it). The food was extremely fatty (lamb bacon @ $37 as an appetiser) extremely salty (American Wagyu ribeye @ $99) or extremely bland (lobster mac’n’cheese @ $44 as a side). Also, sloppy! With the wagyu steak I asked for blue cheese and here comes this oversized hot mess of a blob on top of the steak that I ended up having to scrub off onto the side of my plate! Then comes the bill @ $800 before the tip. One last thing, the room was so dark, nobody could read the menu under the ever-impatient waitress’ eye..because as you guessed it! We need to move on to the next customer already! This is my honest, unadulterated experience with this restaurant and no I wouldn’t recommend it for a moment.
Truly one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. Dined in for my birthday celebration and I am so glad that we did. Our waiter Marcus was outstanding; he had tasteful recommendations and provided such excellent service. The food exceeded all expectations. I had been waiting a long time to try Beef Wellington and I am pleased to have tried it here. Also highly recommend the Steak a La Berg, espresso martini, and the cheesecake! Bonus points to valet for being able to drive standard, as many restaurants I have been to are unable to. The restaurant is dimly lit and provides a warm and intimate atmosphere. We cannot wait to come back!
Ordered a medium steak, got a well done. And they sliced it and gave the gray steak to me, nicely done
