This place was fantastic. The food was amazing, the service was so quick, and friendly. Definitely a six stars. I'll be back, for sure
The atmosphere was good an you can tell they were going for a Louisiana styled environment with the music and overall look of the establishment. The service was really good, and the server was both attentive and knowledgeable about their menu. Our table had the Buffalo Gator bites and red beans and rice for appetizers. Both were delicious. I had the Cajun Jambalaya with their in-house hot sauce and jalapeño corn bread. We also had the pasta Jambalaya, which I would recommend in case they are out of Gumbo. The Louisiana Chicken looked great and the person who ordered it described it as the best food he's had during our whole week. Overall, I recommend if you are in the mood for Louisiana inspired food. Edit: Went back for some Gumbo, softshell crab and pasta Jambalaya... easily my favorite place to eat thus far. Worth every dollar!
Wonderful kitchen !!! Everything was delicious.
We loved this place! It's small, which adds to the atmosphere. It can be a little loud. But the food and the service were excellent!
My wife and I chose to go cajun for Valentine's day and we were not disappointed. This little restaurant in the gaslamp district is a must stop for locals and those visiting this area. The service was great from the moment we walked through the door. My wife got the shrimp and grits got the Louisiana chicken. The tasso ham cream sauce. The sauce is phenomenal and elevated the dish to another level. The prices are very reasonable and I would return in a heartbeat if I lived in this area.
I guess all the food is as delicious as the poboy sandwich I ate.
The Blackened Catfish was absolutely delicious. The pasta was very tasty and to top it off the bread pudding and beignets were just as good.. I’ll definitely return when I’m in San Diego.
