great service n taste

Tried buffet. We were having just vegetarian dishes. They were Average . Desert laddu was horrible. Tasted so artificial.

Food was delicious

We ate using the new buffet service. Wide variety of vegan and meat based dishes. Was able to try a bite of everything. The food, wait staff,and interior design made for a happy experience. Will definitely go back on a regular basis. Easy walk from the South Side area. Vegetarian options: The buffet had a large selection of vegetarian options. Vegetarian an non vegetarian entries available in equal measure so that no one will feel left out. All vegetarian options are clearly marked. Very tasty.

Their behaviour and service was up to the mark. The food was halal and fresh, Smelled good. I likde their customer service, their place was full of customers, they were busy but they were so professional and calm and well mannered. I would definitely recommend them rather than other Southasian restaurant in downtown area.

I'm from NYC and went to this restaurant for the first time - The Bay Leaf has the BEST Indian food I've ever had. Sid was an awesome Host and assisted with great menu selections. For $44, I had a choice of an appetizer or street food, wirh an entree and dessert. I came in with heartburn and whatever wonderful spices/herbs they used, cleared the burning sensation - Usually the opposite happens. Also, the Bay Leaf made the BEST lamb chops I've ever eaten. Everything was seasoned to perfection. The presentation of the food made me think that I was on a cooking show. The art work on the walls is exquisite, the music was soothing, and the enitre decor is perfect. I am looking forward to going back. I even asked Sid if they had a location in NYC? (No) Sid was kind enough to give me two restaurants that I may enjoy. Please go to the Bay Leaf - your taste buds will thank you

The food was absolutely amazing! I'll say the customer service was also excellent. I highly recommend the "butter chicken" & for the drink the "Mango Lassi" it' SO delicious!
