Truly one of the best Chicago has to offer. Some of the best steak I've had with impeccable accompaniments in the mashed potato and Mac and cheese. Chocolate pie was alright, not as hype as I was led to believe. Only problem is the insane wait just to get even a bar seat. Wish the bartenders would encourage those who finish and just sit there for hours to move on a bit faster.

One of the best dining experiences one could possibly have. Very dim, laid back, beautiful atmosphere. The service was great. Steak was the top three steaks I've ever eaten in my life. Every bite was like butter. Sides were delicious as well! It's definitely a place to experience if you're into fine dining and STEAKS!!!

I've had wayyy better steaks and the creamed spinach was burned.

Phenomenal meal, and service. Sat at the bar late on a Wednesday, 10:15pm. The sourdough bread is the best I’ve ever tasted in my life. The Cobb Salad was insane. Lardons warm against a cool, crisp dressing and lettuce. Honestly, I’ve had a lot of meals in Chicago and nothing had been as good as this experience.

Everything is exceptional. Service is great. We never felt rushed or neglected. We got a couple of mocktails, and they were perfect. Shrimp scampi is so good, and so was the garlic bread with it. Our main course was lamb and steak. Both were cokked perfect per our instructions. The steak salt made it even better. The steak had excellent cook. Perfectly crispy on the top but pink on the inside with a slightly red center for medium rare . Truffle mac & cheese is a must try. I should have gone for the aged steak as that's more of my thing, but the ribeye was very good, too.

Best there is. They cover all 3 main bases of a good restaurant. Great food, service, and atmosphere.

Quintessential Chicago steakhouse. Atmosphere, cocktails, food, service, all perfect. Exactly what I was looking for. Book well ahead for reservations. You can also grab a seat at the bar. They allow standing in the bar area, so you’re free to grab a cocktail and stand and wait for a bar seat to open. Had the cognac sazerac, the classic Chicago cut ribeye, truffle Mac & cheese, chopped wedge salad, and hand made sourdough bread. Everything was great. A local seated by me suggested trying the bone-in filet next time. This will be a regular stop for any future trips to the city.
