Best fried pickles and our burgers were amazing! The waitress was so nice, I wish I could remember her name but lovely. She did the salt trick where you put it under your drink so the cup doesn't stick to the napkin!

As an out of towner, this hit the spot! Food was hot and delicious! Both dishes had chicken and it was fork cutting worthy and tender. The broccoli had the perfect amount of tenderness with the slight crunch. Will most likely be back whenever we travel to the area!

As someone who worked here during college, I always used to look forward to visiting baumhowers whenever I got a chance to come back into town and eating old favorites. Well this past time might be my last time. The service and atmosphere were normal sports bar with alabama memoribilia everywhere, but the food was a completly different sotry. While I worked at baumhowers I worked in the kitchen (5 years) so I know how the food quality was (and should be) for various menu items. Most have not changed since I was in school so I was excited to order items that I couldn't get anywhere else. I started with the wickles (sweet/spicy pickles); they were over cooked and hard and once they cooled down just a bit the breading was completly coming off. I couldn't eat more the 5 so definitly wasn't worth the price. Only good thing was I got a hot lip or two that snuck in. For my main, I ordered the allie marie sandwich with mashed potateos with a small order of gooey fries ( really the main reason I came iykyk). The sandwich came out and the bun was soggy, barely any gravy on potatoes and the gooey fries were so disappointing. There was barely any gooey cheese on the fries and I could tell I got the bottom of the last batch of fries as there was nothing but small pieces. As someone who held such a love for this place and the food, only to come back a few years later to such a disappointment is unforunate. And couple on top of that the prices I walked away paying over $50 for a less than subpar food experience. Hope this can improve.

Bartender got my order wrong and poured my wife's cosmo "on the rocks". Our server did her job and I tolerate the appetizer push because that's the way it is. Food was well prepared, but honestly, I prefer more fat in my burger, but they can't please everyone. We sat outside on a patio that looks as if it hasn't been pressure washed/cleaned for a long time. 2 tables held their dirty dishes from the time I was seated until I finally asked someone to clear those tables. At least 30 minutes AND after at least 6 different wait staff walked right past those tables. Makes me suspect of general cleanliness, including food prep. Wife tells me that the restroom was not clean.

Bad short handed.

15 min before anyone acknowledges us after we were seated. We went ahead and placed our order. 25 minutes later and no drinks, no food, no nothing but our waitress peeking out from the kitchen. I informed the hostess we were leaving and to cancel our order. Absolutely NO response from her at all. DONE with this place!

Baumhower's is a great place for lunch or dinner. The food is excellent and service is always friendly and fast. I highly recommend it.
