Batuqui Brazilian Restaurant

This place could not be any better all the way around! The food is great and has very generous portions, the ambiance is awesome, but what stands out to me is the service: everyone we encountered was so genuinely kind and welcoming. I would pick this place every day because of the people who work there—they welcome you like family!

My husband and I are total foodies, and this lovely restaurant exceeded our expectations! 10/10 recommended, do yourself a favor and try their minas cheese with honey- it’s amazing. The service was spectacular, the food was delicious, the people were lovely and very kind. The desserts are to die for! The staff members are always making sure that you have all you need at hand, making sure you have water, giving you recommendations, and just overall making sure you have a wonderful experience. At the end of our night, we had a conversation with Karla (who we later found out is one of the owners), she was the kindest, most humble and funniest person in the room! Can’t recommend this restaurant enough, we’ll be back soon!!!

Best Brazilian food I’ve eaten in this country!

Love how cute and quaint it is. Nice and intimate. And the food is always amazing.

Batuqui is one of the best restaurants in Cleveland. I have visited Batuqui countless times and it never disappoints. Pictured here are some of favorite things from the menu, including the minas cheese appetizer and my favorite entree, moqueca baiana (fish). Batuqui is cozy in the winter (perfect date spot), and I do recommend making a reservation in advance, though you can usually sit at the bar if there’s space. There’s a large outdoor patio in the summer that is also really nice. I strongly recommend!
