Basilicò La Pizzeria

One of my favorite pizzeria's in San Diego. The back patio makes you feel transported, great atmosphere and awesome service. If you want real Italian Pizza this is the place.

My girlfriend and I had an exceptional experience here for our date night. The service was quick and attentive and the food was absolutely delicious. Not sure what the other reviewers were talking about when referencing long wait times. Our food came out within 10 minutes of ordering with no hiccup. Will definitely be visiting again (:

Pizzeria italiana, autentica. Best in town come dicono da queste parti. Sono italiani i proprietari, i pizzaioli, il cuoco e soprattutto gli ingredienti. Provate le arancine.

The food was wonderful the staff was great the young lady on the out side bar was fun and very good at what she does. We will be back very soon. Thanks for a wonderful time.

Oh boy. Where do I start. Okay good news is the staff was awesome. Very good service, bad news food was subpar soggy doughy pizza, blah salad served with small pre cooked frozen shrimp. The really worst part was the horrible sewage leak wafting it's hideous smell into the back patio. Hard to eat when you are literally smelling a sewage problem. The bathroom was dirty, their solution was to burn cloyingly sweet candles to bandaid the problem. Honestly, this might be a health department concern, it was that bad.

Great food and awful service/management. Whether it’s a to-go or dine-in order, there’s always an issue with the order.
