Updated: previously this review was rated 4 stars. I am updating it to 2 stars since my last review 2 years ago. This place has CHANGED. I’m not sure if it’s management, the chef, or something else but the service, menu, and food were all entirely off! We will not be coming back here ever again. Previous review: Chicken Parm and ravioli’s with shrimp were very good. Cocktails and wine was good. The soufflé was amazing but the tiramisu was just alright. We would go back if we’re ever in town again.
In town for business and stopped by on a Saturday night hoping there would be a table. They accommodated me but also the bar opened up and I sat there. The bartender Kristine was very nice and attentive. Food and drinks were great.
This establishment does not have regard for its patrons and has extremely poor customer service. They charged my group an obscene cancellation (several hundred dollars) fee when our children were sick and we were from out of town. We had made reservations the night before on recco from our hotel and I had tried to reach the restaurant first thing in the morning. I also saw that they had several tables so I was relieved that I hadn’t taken up their tables. Despite our hotel contacting them and no longer sending them guests they begrudgingly refunded 2 of the $400 with very rude comments. I live in Chicago and have been to several fine dining establishments in NYC and LA as well and have never been charged like this nor have I been treated so poorly and dismissively. My only conclusion is that they must be hurting for money so badly that they are getting it from their cancellation policy. Bad ju ju here!
I had the rigatoni which was very bland, pasta was VERY al dente and not worth $36. The server seemed like he didn't want to wait on us. Had better experiences at olive garden
During my husband and mine’s visit to this restaurant approximately two years ago, I noticed that the waitress, who may have been of Spanish heritage with brown hair and eyes (I unfortunately didn't catch her name), continuously flirted with my husband, seemingly disregarding my presence. She repeatedly touched my husband's shoulder every time she spoke to him, using her hands, and gave him suggestive looks throughout the evening. I want to stress that I am the primary breadwinner in our relationship and cover the expenses. Residing in Boston, I frequently indulge in fine dining experiences. Such behavior is entirely unacceptable, particularly concerning the treatment of women and married couples who are there to bond over a meal. It is crucial for your staff to understand the significance of upholding a professional and respectful environment. Having a conversation with your waitstaff to ensure that similar incidents do not discourage other customers would be highly beneficial. Additionally, the food was just satisfactory, but the incident I described is the primary reason why I have decided not to return.
Based on the reviews I was expecting better food Dissapointing The mussels which were recommended by the server had no taste And the pasta were too creamy Very heavy sauce
Me and my girlfriend had come here 3 times in a week while i was in town visiting her, and it was honestly top 3 best restaurant experiences i had ever had, the food was delicious, the waiters/waitress’/bartenders were incredibly hospitable and took close care of us (shoutout to Joshua and their Head female Bartender who worked tonight on the 1st (im so sorry i can’t remember your name i genuinely feel terrible but you were genuinely amazing!) and the atmosphere in total was amazing and worth the money that we spent here this week and they had us coming back obviously several times! Next time i’m in town i’ll be sure to come bye again to eat and say hello to everyone again! THANK YOU ALL:)) Vegetarian options: na
