Hold up, food lovers, you gotta experience this restaurant. Flavors? So good, I'm still trying to decode the recipe. Portions? Totally sensible – no food coma required. Staff? They're like your foodie mentors, guiding you through an epic culinary adventure.
This is a ghost kitchen, not the restaurant. Please update your listing to reflect instead of having us find out after driving there :(
I was so bummed to find this is not the restaurant it is listed as. This is a huge building with no seating but tables in the street and a test kitchen in the back for a bunch of start up restaurant with chicken and shakes and vegan food :/ I wanted a glass of wine and arancini
This location is not the restaurant in the pictures of the review…it’s now in a massive a ‘cloud kitchen’ in an industrial part of San Francisco (the same address as shown in this listing). I arrived to pick up my food and was surprised that it was a massive cloud kitchen (I was expecting the restaurant in the pictures of other reviews). There were delivery drivers scurrying in and out. No problem - I was expecting good food, but what I got was terrible. I ordered the spicy Bucatini pasta and it came out mild and stale like it had been sitting in a large tray for hours. Maybe the cloud kitchen uses its own staff to try to cook the recipes from this restaurant, I don’t know… I was extremely disappointed and paid $30 for pasta that I wouldn’t have paid $5 for at a smorgasbord buffet. Very very disappointed.
Absolutely horrible decline in quality. I never write reviews, especially one star ones. But this is just sad and disappointing. Barzotto used to be one of my favorite restaurants too, specifically the spaghetti. The pasta noodles they use are noticeably different and taste noticeably bad. Mediocre sauce and very small portion of it. And the meatballs were the worst part of the dish. If you used to be a fan of the old Barzotto, you won’t get whatever you used to like, as I’m guessing there has been a change in management. I recommend you go to somewhere like Bottega instead. I should have made my on spaghetti at home.
