I have become a frequent customer at Bartaco in 12 South, not only for the best margaritas in town and amazing pork belly tacos but also for the exceptional customer service by Colby, Mike, McKenna, and Matt. They make this place special!

I ordered delivery. The food was so delicious. I'm mad at myself for only ordering a 4 pack of tacos which I all but inhaled. I could easily have done 8. I ordered the spiced chicken Verde, spiced chicken Verde bowl w/extra chicken, and a side of chips and salsa Verde. I also got their pineapple and Rojo hot sauce. The hot sauces are a bit too hot for me buy that pineapple hot sauce had amazing flavor. The chicken bowl came with an avocado salsa, I don't eat avocado because it normally makes me ill. I was so hungry so I went ahead and tried it. It was really good. I'm hoping there's no ramifications from the avocado. The flavor was very citrusy. The tacos, so flavorful and fresh. The chips for the salsa and really big rounds. Mine came with 5. They were very crunchy and tasted fresh. I would definitely recommend ordering the 8 pack over the 4. You can never have too many tacos. Update: came in today for more tacos because I was just craving them. They are so good. The ambiance is wonderful. It's so casual and upbeat. Everyone seemed happy to be at work. The way you place orders really eliminates errors from customers ordering food and blaming servers because the customer is responsible for placing their own orders. Seems smart. You also have an open check so when you order a taco and decide you need more you can just add them. My kids ordered the fried plantains, tajin pineapple, and duck tacos. The duck tacos are like dessert. The tajin pineapple was so weird and good. The staff were very helpful with ordering and ensuring our food was brought out safely. There is paid parking behind the building. Update: downgrading to 4 stars due to consistency issues. I have had a couple orders now where the quantity and quality is just not consistent. Tonight I ordered 2 sides of beans which were not filled up and the cups were mostly water/liquid, the taco packs also did not have many toppings in them. So I ordered several 8 packs and the onions and cilantro in 1 was barely enough for 3 tacos. There was maybe a tbsp of cilantro in the 1 8 pack. I've had other time where there wasn't even enough meat to make 8 tacos. The quality control on takeout just isn't there. Dietary restrictions: I have celiac disease and food allergies. They are able to accomodate gluten free, dairy free, soy free, nut free, shellfish free diets. Kid-friendliness: The waitress brought out kid proof straw cups when we sat down.

Bar taco has by far the freshest margarita around. The service was so quick so precise and so friendly. I could eat 1000 of those pork belly tacos. And another 500 oyster tacos. I will dream about that margarita forever.

Bartaco has the best Margarita that I have ever tried. All the juices are freshly made by the nicest people and their pork taco is perfect as it is. Great atmosphere, especially in the afternoon. If you are in Nashville, don’t miss the opportunity to visit this great place. You won’t regret it

This place should be called No. 1 Margarita with Tacos. Hard to beat the taco trucks in this town, but they get awfully close with a new twist. Plus they have a roof and amazing outdoor seating for those nice days that Tennessee likes to bless us with every once in a while.
