Barriques Coffee - Old Sauk

I was in town to meet up with an old friend. It was perfect for the occasion. Coffee was delicious, staff was friendly and courteous. Service was fast. I left my laptop and they kept it safe for me.

My wife and I ordered two small iced coffees for dine in. The teller turned around to make our coffee and poured it into two to go cups. He's about to serve it to us and then realized his mistake. He grabs to glasses heads over to the sink and pours the coffee from the to go cup into the glass. There's about a half a cup left over by the time he's done pouring it into the glass. So what does he do with the rest of the drink that I had just paid for? He dumps it down the drain. With both orders! Altogether that would have been another half glass of iced coffee. Why waste it? Especially when I had already paid for it. If I go again whether I stay or leave I'm getting the coffee to go. You get more...

Americano. Literally the only person/order in the works. Took 10min because the barista went in back and made HIMSELF a salad first.

Consistent tasty beverages for many years at Barrique's. I am grateful they are around for the occasional splurge. Maple scone and miel latte were good. They also have a great selection of wines and chocolate! Parking: Easy parking
