Barrett's Coffee

They have the best decaf whole beans that I can find. Definitely get their airtight container if you buy whole beans here, you get a discount on filling up and aren't creating extra trash :). Also I think you get more beans but I haven't weighed it. The drip coffee is , so so good. One of my favorites is from Nicaragua, very bright but not overpowering.

Best coffee roaster in the city, probably the state. Ive been coming here for over 5 years and in that time it's only gotten better amd better. I've never known a business owner as kind or generous as Travis Kizer and their head roaster Steven is a freaking savant covered in grime. This place better be around forever because this neighborhood would lost without them.

I was excited to try a new coffee shop my friends had raved about. My partner and I found Barrett’s to be worth all the accolades. Excellent espresso and pastries, thoughtful and helpful baristas, and an airy and lovely space. Absolutely worth the visit.

The coffee here is TipTop aways roasted In house and as fresh as it could be. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the staff are always welcoming. I've been coming here since 2016! I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place to meet a friend, work remote, read a book! The owner Travis Kizer is the kindest person you’ll meet and the establishment and the staff embodies that kindness.

Great coffee, good tacos, poor customer service. Lady at the front counter had a huge attitude, rolled her eyes, no patience, and acted like it was an inconvenience we were there. I brought my parents here from out of state with high expectations, only to have the experience dampened by a disrespectful and impolite employee. Otherwise, great coffee. I’d be back, but certainly not to stay and sit.

An excellent place to pick up whole bean coffee roasted in-house. Makes the whole neighborhood smell amazing when the roasters are going!
