Barista Parlor Hillsboro Village

The heart of my review needs to be on the coffee, which was truly great. Artisan thru and thru. The sole barista did a good job of juggling the register and the coffee. Though, the crowd was slow. I appreciate that drinks were prioritized on both on first come first serve, but if a black coffee was ordered those drinks were served right away. If I had complaints, it would be the music. The music provided an unwelcoming atmosphere. Perhaps there is something to that, get people to mozy. Though, it wasn't working as the tables were all taken up by folks slaving over their laptops. Its frustating to see a single person command an entire 4-top, but that's a battle I think the coffee shop would want to take on. Though, if you are looking for a place to drink and sit, this is probably not your spot. There is a decent amount of seating, but only about 50% is usable because of patrons using the shop as their home office.

Good cafe, very bold with flavors, so be careful with your choice! Polite staff. Atmosphere is nice, kinda calm.

Out of the coffee shops near Vanderbilt, this is the best one. Probably the best barista parlor location too IMO. The staff here have been overwhelmingly kind to me, and their Panela Sticky is the best pour over I’ve had in the area. Love this place!

Great coffee and nice staff. Instead of ordering coffee at a restaurant while eating breakfast, I recommend ordering it separately here.

I went in for a latte and the women working there were really nice and efficient. My latte was so good, I went back for another one. The coffee is legit here and the ambiance is really nice. I bet this is the best coffee in the neighborhood for sure.

Great coffee and great atmosphere. My go to coffee for the last couple of months.
