Fun place. Good food..Enjoyed the NZ flare while kids had burgers and grilled cheese. Service was slow (not horrible but not prompt). Quality of service was great. Parking: Find street parking.
A great spot.- kind of a gay name though. A very short wait before we were seated. The weather was terrific, so we sat outside. The food was pretty good too. The best dish we ordered was the fish and chips. I would recommend to anybody.
These guys used to be good but in the last year the quality of the food and portion size went down, and prices went up and to top it off we got sick last time we ate there! Never going back.
I went with a small group and they accommodated us well. It is a smallish building, but the way they open the outdoor seating really makes it feel larger. I got the Chicken Pot Pie on a recommendation, and it was great. It is served in a bowl with a biscuit over a bed of pastry like a very thin filo. It is a unique take of a comfort food favorite!
Good music, good and fast service and excellent food. The wagyu smash burgers are really good just the right size. Don’t forget to get one of those amazing pretzels
We were staying in San Diego for a family vacation. We are driving around, just enjoying the sights, and we were very hungry. We noticed the restaurant and decided to try it out. So this is a New Zealand Twist on burgers and other dishes. We order the hogs and hefers burger and chicken pot pie. The Red Ale was also good. Customer service was decent. There was not much follow-up after we ordered our food or when the food arrived. The atmosphere was kind of like an outdoor bar but relaxed. Prices were decent. The food was very delicious and there were no issues there. Obviously, parking is difficult since it's right next to the beach, but there is neighborhood and paid parking lots close by. Parking: There is local parking in the neighborhood, on the Main Street and there's also very expensive paid parking lots.
