Came with the Family. Liked that you can sit where you want, it is a nice open space. Order your beer and food at the bar, they give you a number to set on the table. Pizza was out shortly, and delicious. We ended up getting five, my oldest finished a bar pie himself, we couldn't get him to stop. He wanted to go for the second pie, but Mom was not having it . I recommend stopping by with friends or family, three big screens on the wall, music, and excellent bar pizza. Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free crusts.
Have been looking for good pizza and I found it. Crispy, not greasy and not too saucy. Realized when I got there it's a brewery spot too. Lots of beer on tap. Didn't eat in but will definitely have to next time. And it's filling.
I called in an order for take out and the guy who answered was really nice and helpful. He answered all questions I had about how long it would take & how to pay. The place itself is definitely a vibe & would go back just to hang out and have a few drinks & try something else from the menu. NOW.. the pizza. I had my hopes really high, because bar pizza is one of my favorites & theirs looked delicious. HOWEVER, I was actually pretty disappointed. We got a cheese and a roni. Was not a fan of the cheese since it had a mix of mozzarella and sharp cheddar (the cheddar was too overpowering). The Roni was a lot better but it was just very heavy, and greasy from top to bottom. The pepperoni had really great flavor and so does their sauce! Just okay for me though.
Pulled up to Bardo's while visiting the area recently n craving a bar pie because sometimes you want something familiar to hit just a lil different. Im happy to report that I was not disappointed....all ordering is done online which is a lil meh but lets get back to the main event here.... This Pizza!! Went w the "Social Climber" which has the famed lombardo's sausage, red onions, n mama lil's pickled spicy pepps... This pie looked almost better than it ate!! And boy did it eat....someone on here mentioned voodoo dust and I am inclined to concur theres some magical mind controlling nano particles spread all throughout this delectable round as one bite instantly transports you onto the back of that doge coin rocket orbiting near Uranus or something. The crust is light and crisp and pillowy w just a bit more thicc to her hips than most other chicks...this is one you take home to mama after treating her to a 3 course meal. Everything on this pie was on point and from the sausage to the peppers to the sauce n cheese. Def one of the better bar pies I've had n hit the spot!
Tasty enough, but definitely knockoff SSBP. Doughy and not crispy. Lace is nice, but this pizza more looks than tastes like SSBP.
This pizza is nothing short of legendary. I don't know what voodoo magic dust they sprinkle on the dough but it hits somewhere between a beautiful fluffy pastry dough and dreams of skipping down the road with your best friend in 4th grade. Also, as a Northshoresman, bar pie is not something I seek or favor. In fact, many days I despise things from the South Shore. So the fact this hits so dangity dang good is saying something. Service was friggin killer too. Great staff.
I had Nana’s Classic Sandwich. It was giving chicken cuban sandwich and I was here for it! 10/10
Love the bar pizza and beer. Get it well done and it’s perfect. Real SSBP. I always get the sweet heat and pig n pickle
I’m in town for a long weekend and Bardo’s was recommended for great pizza and that’s exactly what I got! Pizza is certainly the highlight of Bardo’s menu when it comes to the food. Each pizza is pan style and comes in a personal size however there was plenty to share. Though pizza is the highlight, much of what I saw come out of the kitchen was mouthwatering. In addition to food this place has an amazing list beers on tap. A number of choices for the perfect pair with your food. The atmosphere is fun and relaxed. Great for group gatherings. Seating was first come first serve. While dinning a live band performed some popular hits. I will say be prepared to socialize and project your voice. This place is loud.
