Tourist restaurant. Food was filling but much of it lacked the flavor I like in authentic Italian food. Dessert was delicious and the service was prompt. Music would've been more suited to an elevator. I expected more in a place full of pianos. Good value for the money and location. If you're from Wisconsin and scared of a real NYC experience, look no further.
Great place. Eduardo is the best. Have been coming here for over twenty years and have always enjoyed a very intimate unique restaurant. Sea bass was outstanding
Food and service very good. The ambiance is wonderful.
I photographed Tara and Mark's beautiful wedding here during the summer. I highly recommend it! The atmosphere and food was amazing! They had their ceremony upstairs and had a private dining room in the restaurant for their reception.
We loved this restaurant that was one of the highlights of our stay in NYC. The atmosphere and the service was amazing. Really friendly staff, it was a pleasure to meet Eduardo. And the food was delicious! Highly recommended.
It shouldn't be so hard to find a great Italian restaurant in NYC, but this isn't a place I would place on this list. The only menu available was the pre theatre menu which was a bit more limited that I would have liked. I started with a roasted vegetable soup which lacked depth and flavor. My wife had a beet salad which was essentially just marinated beats. Not the typical beets and lettuce and vinagrette. I had read the rabbit was memorable and It was good, though a bit dry. The menu did not have depth. It just seemed uninspiring. The place was super loud till the theater goers dispersed. Time to try another place.
Service at this place is horrendous. Food was good, but brace up for rude service and extreme subpar experience
This was the surprise hit of our NYC trip! Wanted Italian but this isn't your pasta and park kind of place. The service is old school and impeccable. We did the pre theater menu and couldn't have been more pleased. I am still dreaming about the beautiful mozzarella on the starter and I would go back for the crab entree alone. Definitely a gem!
