The best Indian food experience in Birmingham. The biryani dishes are delicious! I will be back.

Saw a lot of 5 star reviews so I thought I give it a try. Ordered the mutton biryani. The good news is that overall, the dish was good. The bad is that there was not a lot of mutton. For the price I paid, I would expect a handful of mutton. Instead when I opened the dish, I saw only the biryani rice. I assume the mutton was buried, which it was. I started to dig into the dish only to find 3 pieces of mutton. There was one big piece but it was all bone, there were two smaller pieces, about a bite size each. Again, the flavor was good. I would suggest it but I think it’s a bit over priced.

One fo the best biriyanis available I. Birmingham. Their chicke. 65 is also worth the mention. My family Iiked their dum biriyani much better than their boneless

Honest review! Wanted to try this place as it is a new Indian restaurant in downtown, and we should support the local business. Ordered mutton biryani for take out. The food was ready in 10 minutes which was fast. The container seemed to be of a good quantity as well, the biryani is complimented with 2oz of raita(yogurt) and egg plant curry each. After opening the container, it was a new thing to experience there was no garnishing of fried onions/regular onions, no boiled egg as well as no cilantro or mint garnishing. Okay! This might be something new. Took a bite it was flavorful so my hopes started getting a little high about the mutton biryani. Then I started digging more to find the tender mutton with the masala(spices), to my disappointment there were 4 pieces of poor quality meat mutton. 1 of them was just bone no meat on it. The pieces had skin fat and it seemed the restaurant doesn’t choices good quality of mutton meat (goat meat). Very disappointed with meat quality and no garnishing as well as no masala, just flavored rice. TLDR: Meat used by the restaurant is no of good quality, a lot of fat attached to the pieces, no masala, no garnishing. You are paying $18 for flavored rice and about 4 pieces of bones lucky if there’s meat on it. It would have been a 1star review however the rice were flavored well. Try it at your own risk.

Great lunch! Tandoori chicken with garlic sauce is fantastic. 2 pieces of chicken, garlic sauce, salad, fries with a fountain drink was around $16. Would recommend
