We had dinner at Bar 56 for our wedding anniversary and it was an incredible experience. We are used to going out in NYC but this definitely blew us away. The team was amazing, from a warm and very personalized welcome to a flawless service throughout the meal. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, the wine very diverse and easy to choose from the menu. We also loved the atmosphere and decor of the place. We will come back again for sure. Thank you for such an amazing time!

Phenomenal menu. We especially loved the beets, broccolini/grape/fennel salad, lobster tagliatelle, ravioli, branzino and pork. Definitely save room for dessert, and ask the sommelier for pairing recs. It’s a beautiful space and wonderful staff. Vegetarian options: There are several options, especially in the first section and pastas. Dietary restrictions: I’m pescatarian and had no problem. The menu accommodates vegetarians, too.
Great 4 course prix fixe for $85 and wide selection of cocktails and wines by the glass or bottle. Friendly and attentive service. Ravioli al uovo, branzino, and olive oil cake were perfect
Their prix fixe is a memorable one and I highly encourage you to try it. Wines at all price levels with sommeliers to find you exactly what you are looking for. This is a hidden gem tucked away in dumbo that not many know about.
We were so glad to have dined here- it’s a great date night or just nice dinner out option. Food was perfect for sharing or individual, and a nice variety of new American dishes to choose from with chef driven and tasty preparation. The pastas are top notch, we had the lobster tagliatelle and the parsnip cappellaci was out of this world. Also enjoyed the hamachi crude and the pickled veg served with Sakura pork. Very approachable and attentive service with beautiful decor. Really solid wine by the glass selection to please any diner with helpful category descriptions which I appreciated to achieve a quality pairing.
