I was in town for my birthday over NYE Weekend. I booked a reservation and received confirmation a few days before and again the day of my birthday. We arrived to the restaurant that night at 7pm and THE PLACE WAS CLOSED! How do you confirm with me the day of via but be closed without calling me? I could say so much more but I’m good! Thank you to STK for accommodating me at the very last minute on my birthday.

Our server recommended the stuffed salmon for dinner and it was delicious! She was so sweet and attentive.

The location is decent it's always nice to have dinner by the water. Once my husband and I arrived, we waited for thirty-five minutes after being seated for a waitress to come and greet us. Let me just say we visited on a Tuesday night, and there were only 2 waitresses on staff. When we first arrived there, it was fairly empty, so it should not have taken that long. After waiting for another 40 minutes, we were able to order our food. We ordered our appetizers and food together because of waiting so long. I asked the waitress if the appetizers could come out before the food, and she said yes. Later, a crowd started to gather, so the wait got worse. My husband and I ordered drinks, which took another 30 minutes, and my husband never received his. About an hour and a half later, the food came out all together, and yes, it was cold. We later found out that only one person was cooking. The thing that got me was that Peter was at his establishment, and upon his arrival, he thought it was okay to drink and mingle with his friends as his waitstaff struggled to stay afloat. He must have finally realized they were going under because 30 minutes later, he decided to lend a helping hand and clear some tables and bring out some orders. After which, he went back to getting wasted. Once we finished our dinner and the receipt was provided, there were items in there that we didn't receive. After speaking with the manager, she removed the items and charged me half price for the cold mediocre jerk wings that I had. After arriving back at the hotel, my husband realized that I was charged twice for one drink...smh. I reached out to the restaurant to speak with the manager to no avail. I was told she would contact me within 24 hours it has been 4 days, and I have returned home. The Mac and Cheese was good. The spinach was high blood pressure salty. The grouper bites were decent. The food to me was very mediocre. I would give them a second chance because I am fair, and I like to give people a chance to redeem themselves. This visit for me was very disappointing. If I had to recommend, based on this experience, I would NOT!

I have been wanting to visit Miami to go to Peter’s restaurant for years. I finally made it there in January for my spouse and my birthday.. We got dressed up, like suit and tie dressed up. At 9:00pm we arrived at Bar One to a deserted restaurant. Yes, it was closed. The main focal point of not only our trip from Pennsylvania to Miami but also our birthdays ruined. Very disappointing.

Just awful! Will never return again… I made a reservation for brunch for 3 last week. You knew that you did NOT have alcohol and did not inform me prior to. Upon arrival, I was still not informed of the lack of alcohol. Had we known, we would not have stayed to dine. We were only informed by the waitress after we, my friends (their 1st visit), attempted to place an order for cocktails! We were highly disappointed. Since we each paid $10 to park, we decided to stay. That was the Biggest mistake we made. One friend ordered the oxtails & grits, that was fine, well the oxtail portion of it was. The other ordered lamb chops and waffles, & that was beyond distasteful to say the least. It was cooked over well done when she wanted medium. The airhead waitress said that, “only steak is prepared medium”, that made no sense. Additionally, the lambchops were extremely salty! The bill, sans alcohol, after the chops were removed was $100 dollars! Mind you, I had overpriced chicken wings & a side of asparagus!! Of course they added an astronomical service fee. After paying, we ran out of there! Right next door is a cute little place call 100x305 Cocina con Raices, splendid experience, the ambiance is amazing, the food, drinks, & dessert was really good & they have live music!! Really, really wish we had gone there instead of wasting our time and money at Bar One. Never AGAIN!
