I love the vibe of this tiny standing wine bar. It reminds me of a traditional Japanese izakaya. You don't get much cozy neighborhood bars in Manhattan anymore, especially not in Chelsea, which is flooded with trendy cocktail bars serving $20 pre-tax/tip cocktails. Somehow the food served manages to be simply delicious as well. And no, that's not the wine talking. 1. WHITE ANCHOVY (marinated in vinegar + sicillian olives) $7 2. GRILLED CALAMARI (sauteed kale, bottarga) $16 3. GRILLED BRANZINO (shredded carrots, celery, onion dressing) $17 4. PENNE AMATRICIANA (applewood smoked bacon, onion, parmesan, tomato sauce) $16

Loves this tiny little place! Somehow snagged 2 spots on a Friday evening - the place is essentially standing only inside at the bar (can fit ~20 people max). They had a nice selection of wine, a couple cocktail options and a nice Italian forward menu from pasta, burrata, beet salad, to lemon panacotta. There were a couple tables outside but uncovered from the elements in case weather is bad. Would absolutely go back.
