I had a most distressed experience at this bar in the Bronx… Bar 47 exhibits racist , bigot behavior. The bartender refused to serve me, citing that I appeared too aggressive, because the lady next to me refused to let me sit in an empty seat. This was my first time going to a bar in the Bronx, and I have never encountered such treatment in Jersey City. However, the situation escalated when a short bartender, who resembled an Oompa Loompa, (you know who you are) no need to mention names…approached me and insisted that I leave. When I asked for an explanation, he simply stated that it was because I looked aggressive. It seems that this bar caters to individuals who resemble the staff and if you have a slightly darker complexion, it becomes a problem. I assure you, this will not be the last time you hear from me regarding this matter. I have faced racial discrimination on multiple occasions, but tonight's experience truly caught me off guard. The entire establishment needs to be held accountable for their actions.
