It's okay , I probably wouldn't go back again. The space is quite cramped and no backs on any seats so if you've a back issue , that could be a problem. They weren't the best baos I've had and I didn't have the noodle soup. The staff were friendly but a bit slow , however is was very busy that night ! :)
Was a bit disappointed with the beef noodle soup. Maybe it was an off day. The dessert and drinks were tasty.
Baos were tiny and it's not cheap either... Though, the taste is good
Incredible, tasty and authentic food. Amazing service and a relaxed atmosphere.
It was my sisters birthday and we came for a quick lunch, everything as so lovely and the food was amazing! Vivian was especially was so thoughtful and gave my sister a birthday Bao and card which was a nice sweet memory!
Food was nice but extremely limited vegetarian options. Tofu noodle (dan dan) was extremely dry. A bowl of drained noodles served with tofu crumble. i asked for some broth to make it more moist (to which was not vegetarian and additionally billed). Fried chicken which were basically boneless chicken , smaller than anticipated. Overall nice apart from having waited 20 minutes for my noodles to get cold waiting for the broth to arrive so i can start my meal whilst my friend had their food served hot, starting soon after. Fried chicken bun (bak)was the same as the fried chicken side, which id of prefered not deep fried and more authentic as a shredded chicken paste, alternative to the pork version. Staff were nice.
Food was flavorful. Yakult raspberry drink excellent. Pineapple cake and Beef noodles were excellent. Everything else was very good. Friendly helpful staff. Great interior.
We are regulars at Bao. We love it here.
Decent, but nothing amazing in terms of the flavour.
