Food is ok, but be sure to be super clear about what you order! We ordered coffee but the attendant gave us cold coffee instead (she just assumed we wanted cold) and after 15 minutes they arrived with small hot coffees instead of large.
We got here after 2pm. There were some items that had sold out. Prices are pretty average here. $5.95 for a sandwich. Mung bean bao was ok. Will be back to try other items.
I only tried the bun mi so far. I will go back to try the bao on a later date. But the baguette that they use on the bun mi was disappointing. Slightly on the dry side making it messy to eat. Crumbs every where. The filling was decent. Just the baguette was the issue.
Do not ignore all the recent 1 star reviews. This restaurant may have been good at one point, but is living in its former glory now. I came here to study because I saw pictures of their huge seating area with plenty of outlets, but was sorely disappointed upon arrival to see they took away their tables and chairs, seeming to be unwelcoming to diners. The owner proved that moments later by coming outside to rudely tell me not to lean on one of their remaining outdoor tables (not like they even take good care of their tables. It was dirty and dusty) while I waited for a friend, so I decided to take my business elsewhere. $20 minimum for credit card is steep. Only plus are the prices, however there are other restaurants nearby with better prices AND better attitudes. I would not recommend coming here
The bao were good and the coffee was on the sweeter side I think - the ice is pretty cool.
