Some of the best acai bowls around. Definitely recommend!
I ordered two bowls, she said she would bring it out immediately…. They continued to mess around in the back kitchen for the next 20 minutes(having a blast back there for sure! ) and placed my order in the refrigerator as if it was to go?! When I walked up to ask for my order she said “can I take your order?” I was like we’re the only customers here ?! Then had to explain that I had already ordered. She acted surprised I was ticked off as well. Classic humans ☎️ I also told them to stop screwing around on the job. Lol
The food is great, but management has skimped on labor for years at all locations (source: I worked here). I called twice before getting through just to be told they are not accepting orders because there are only two workers and they’re backed up. Mind you, this was early afternoon on a Monday. That’s just unacceptable. The owner makes more than enough to staff the store appropriately, but because they are cheap, they provide a poor customer facing experience. Bummer, I would have liked to have given them my money today.
Açaí bowl was good However if you don’t have time to wait 30 minutes don’t go! I was also skipped and they completed the person order behind me first ( I only had an out lunch)
I drove here from Laguna Niguel after telling my friend that I was stopping at Acai Republic on my way home to San Clemente. She told me her favorite place for acai is Banzai Bowl in San Clemente. I googled the lication, saw that it closes at 8 and my GPS had me arriving at 735... i thought, Perfect! I get to try a new place right in town with plenty of time to order and get home by 8, when my dads caregiver leaves. I was surprised to find the door locked and the chairs put up and the employees cleaning up. As I searched the internet and looked at the sign on the door to see if I had misread the closing times, 1 of the young ladies shouted for me to go away! That's when I decided to leave the review. If they were going to close early, I understand, but wouldn't it be better to come to the door to explain vs screaming at me in an annoyed and exasperated voice? I gave the food a 3 because I didn't get to try it. The service and lousy attitude deserve a 0, though, if not negative points. A poor experience with rude employees has me doubtful I'll return.

Horrible customer service from a shift lead. I frequent this establishment in San Clemente the bowls are always tasty . Today they were charging me 3$ more for each of the 4 bowls I was about to purchase . The menue says 10$ and the guy was charging me 13$ per bowl . I ask him why he said oh let me try to fix this but he couldn’t I ask to talk to a manger . The blond girl says I’m a lead. She said the prices went up I ask why dont they change the menus pricing . She was so rude to me and my family . Laughing at us saying well I can’t change the menue . We left and will never return . I am contacting their corporate office . Horrible service !!
Always yummy , though pretty slow turn around . We order in advance and still have to wait upon arrival . Busy place :)
