Excellent take out food

I have lived in Vietnam, and when in California it is very easy to find good Pho but the other amazing Vietnamese food can be hard to come by; and often it is fusion or inspired by the original dish. This place serves great Bahn Mi, it is family owned and operated, and Ventura is lucky to have it.

It’s a little takeout store that’s hidden, but it’s amazing food. So authentic and a very sweet family owns and runs it. Some of the best Vietnamese food I’ve ever had, and definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Ventura. Great for lunch, great for catering. I usually just get bahn mi for lunch, but I thought this goodness should be spread to parties. Very kind family owned business. They worked with me through several changes and the food was on time and amazing.

Had pork belly banh mi, shrimp fried rice and beef pho. All of them were amazing, would recommend this place! Banh mi and pho were extremely well-done especially! However, this spot is more of a takeout spot than a dine-in one.

Food has always been good. Only problem is the cleanliness is going down hill. Food counters that you can see from the food counters looked disgusting. Please clean as I like your food. Dead flys in the corner. Fridge doesn’t look like it’s been wiped down in months. Spider webs everywhere. Floors are disgusting. Needs a good mop.

Grilled Pork Banh Mi, where have you been all my life?! Just a fantastic sandwich exploding with deliciousness. The quality and complete satisfaction with this meal took the sting out of being charged almost $3 for a 12oz CAN of Coke. Won't hesitate to return for the Banh Mi, but not the drink.

Chill takeout spot with a couple of spots to sit while you wait for fresh and flavorful cuisine. Do yourself a favor and just order the Lemonsgrass Beef Banh-Mi. I would have added photos but I couldn't help myself and devoured everything before the thought crossed my mind. Sorry!
