Banh Khot Vung Tau

12 per dish? Great value. Personally taro dish isn't that great unless you like taro. Everything else is great, Banh Khot is crispy. Fried chicken is very crispy and even more flavorful inside. Fried rice is amazing! And I'm not easily impressed by fried rices! Update: Round 2 - passion fruit drink is good, the chicken was not overly fried this time and the flavor was even more excellent. Fried rice and banh khot are FIRE. Lots of viet cliente, this place is authentic/legit!!!

10:12 am Sun/8 Oct. They give tons of fresh veggies and the (in-house?) ground chili they provide to add to the fish sauce is nice. Small menu so easy to decide what to order.

Just a small place but cozy enough with great food and superbly friendly service. The best "banh khot" I have ever had in the US. Highly recommend if you are looking for something crispy served with fresh vegetables and mild fishsauce.
