Great service! Ordered take out and everything was packaged very nicely! Food was pretty good! Got the banh xeo, banh cuon, and banh uot!! Only con was the shrimp in the banh xeo still had the shell on it. I know people like that but i prefer no shell. Wonder if I can order no shell next time. Anyways everything else was great!
Egg noodles Shoup is tasty and rice rolls are delicious
Wanted to eat something different for breakfast that I haven't had in awhile. Decided to get some Banh Cuon(Steamed Rice Sheets Rolls) Stopped by Tay Ho for my craving. It was as good as I remembered. Got it to go. Service was quick and I was out the door with my order within 10 minutes. I highly recommend. The only thing I would complain about is not getting some chili sauce packed with my order to add to my fish sauce
I really enjoy their Special Banh Cuon Tay Ho. Love all the different things that go into the dish. Last night thought I'd try the vegetarian version but customized into a pescatarian version, with their normal fish sauce-based dipping sauce, which is an important component in the tastiness of this dish, and shrimp fritter. But the waiter didnt understand what i was trying to do. What I got when i got home was a strictly vege version with soy sauce based dipping sauce, and no shrimp in the fritter. Disappointing. Hope they make a pescatarian version. I also like their sea snail tomato soup. Lots of snails. Very umami. But a little too salty. Overall I recommend this restaurant. Just hope they make a couple of tweaks.
Nice place and fresh bánh cuốn.
