Used to be a lot better. I used to come a lot, but as they've become more popular the flavour isn't there. Also the prices are different from what is on their menu board. Menu board says 10 for tomato pot pie, but they charge you 12. I made a comment about ir, but they either didn't hear me or chose to ignore me. Whenever I get a craving for grits I stop by. However they tend to always be too salty. And if you get them past morning time they tend to be cold. I love the tomato pot pie but the pastry crust is always undercooked. Some parts raw even. If you get the pot pie just get it to-go and not have them heat it up. Stick it in an airfryer or oven so you can ensure the pastry crust is cooked through. Pies are decent and every now and then I'll make a trip out but it's definitely not as good as it used to be.
the best chicken pot pie I ever had. I wish they would add GF options for friends, but I'll take what I can get :)
I now understand the hype about this place after tasting their vegetarian Pot Pie! It was so flavorful, and the crust is cooked to perfection. The presentation is also very lovely and the coffee is great. Pick-up was nice and easy. The staff was very nice and friendly. It's understandable that they say to order first before sitting down as indoor seating is limited. I would say Pot Pie is good for one person as they are small but filling! Vegetarian options: They have a vegetarian Pot Pie that has tomatoes, onions, cheese, etc. They also offer oat milk for coffee!
@lydieats November is pie month for me Itโs my way of celebrating fall and you will hear me talk about it nonstop. Of the three spots I sampled for my perfect Thanksgiving pie, Bang Bang is def the cutest one. The checkered deli paper, blue plastic plates, and the general decor are all very charming. Starting with the pie (pumpkin ofc), they use a graham crust base. The consistency is smooth and dense, which I liked โบ๏ธ I found the flavor to be quite spicey and not too sweet, so would be perfect with vanilla ice cream. Even the crust has a bit of spiceโฆ? Ginger? Molasses? Not sure but if thatโs your thing, this is the pie youโre looking for. Besides pie, another must try are their biscuits. Super moist and soft, crumbling perfectly. The sausage has a ginger flavor that we didnโt vibe with but the peach habanero jam rly hits That being said, we rly liked the cheddar grits. First time ever ordering this and honestly I now understand the appeal. Loved the cheesy flavors, creamy texture, and just the warmth of it. Kinda salty but I would get again.

Wow. Such a great place. Itโs very small, so be prepared to be next to people but the biscuits were amazing. So light and fluffy. The grits were great too. The pretzeled apple pie was good but the baklava pie was divine!
