Bandung Indonesian Restaurant

Went with a group. Staff was friendly but they forgot my order. When they brought food for my friends, the server told me they forgot to enter my order but that they had put it in and it was being made right now. They brought it out shortly but it wasn't what I ordered (fried rice instead of curry). I had to leave by a specific time so I didn't say anything and just ate it cause didn't want to delay further. Was pretty bland in my opinion.

They are employing my domestic abuser and refuse to acknowledge that he harasses me during business hours as a delivery boy

Sambal goreng tempeh some of the best food I've ever had at a restaurant. Partner was delighted with the rendang and appreciated that they made it extra spicy as per his request. Ginger tea was delightful. Service was excellent. Vegetarian options: A small but significant selection of non-meat dishes, with tempeh and/or eggs.

Cooper was so nice and helpful with dish recommendations! (Give this lovely human a raise!) The food was delicious and the vibes were immaculate!

Finally went. Amazing food! Great flavors, even better than I had hoped. Can't wait to go back. Now I'm so curious about why Indonesia has tempeh when (to the best of my knowledge) none of the other surrounding countries utilize that as a protein source. Just tofu... So curious. Regardless. Absolutely awesome meal!! Vegetarian options: I'm vegan and my partner is ovolactovegetarian. We did just fine. Plenty of food for both of us

I have been a huge fan of Bandung going back to 2007. Recently got some Gado Gado and Satay Tempe to go! Also dined in for satay Tempe and Holy Basil with chicken. Tasty Thank you for your wonderful food and consistent presence on the Madison food scene!

Got the platter for two, which included 4 different dishes. Pros: Dishes tasted excellent and was well-seasoned. Cons: The food, including the rice, comes out COLD! It wasn't a pleasant experience biting into cold beef and chicken. For such a pricey restaurant, you would expect that the food would come out hot. Would I recommend this place? Absolutely not. Maybe the experience would have been better ordering take-out and microwaving the food, so that it's piping hot.
