Went for a food festival. I was interested in traditional setup food serving. Food was good. On a spicier side. Most of the items were served cold. Disappointed. Also the service wasn't prepared for such an event. Was expecting better.
Best South Indian food in LA
Awesome food, always fresh and tasty food served no matter what. Good choice for people around Torrance and Redondo Beach. Initially we did not know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and service. The decor is trendy and the price very reasonable. I would recommend this to anyone and will visit again. Weekend there is live music, and for weekends you can host party for about 50+ people as well with complete privacy. Vegetarian options: Hyderabad Paneer Majestic is good choice for Veg appetizers. But all items are good.
We went for the special Banana leaf meal. We weren't even served all the main dishes. Honestly was very disappointing after driving over an hour and a half to get there to eat.
Food was so good. I ate dosa, spring dosa was amazing. I booked a table for 10 ppl and the food and curries are amazing. Dosa was top notch.
Delightful staff, really yummy food :)
We celebrated the cradle ceremony (Barasala) for my son here. The party went well, and many people liked the authentic style of Indian food, especially Biryani, Noodles, Mango lassi, and Special sweet - Bobattu. Excellent service, Beautiful location, and environment. Overall value for the money. Recommend for Family parties and events. Thank you @Banana leaf
Dined in yesterday and the ambience was so good, loved the service and food was so delicious especially that spicy boneless chicken Biriyani and chicken manchurian was top notch. And the staff was so friendly and respectful
Title: A Flavorful Experience with a Hidden Gem ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ 4/5 I recently had the pleasure of dining at Redondo BananaLeaf Restaurant, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The Good: The Chicken 65 at Redondo BananaLeaf is an absolute must-try! The flavors were rich and perfectly balanced, leaving my taste buds craving for more. Pairing it with a cold beer elevated the entire dining experience. The beverage selection complements the menu well, offering a refreshing accompaniment to the delicious dishes. What sets this place apart from other Indian restaurants is the owner's warm hospitality. The owner goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome, creating a distinct and enjoyable atmosphere. The personal touch adds a unique charm to the dining experience, making it more than just a meal but a memorable encounter. The Bad: One aspect that could use improvement is the restaurant's visibility. It's a bit challenging to spot the place, which might make it hard for first-time visitors to find. A clearer sign or better external visibility could go a long way in attracting more customers. In conclusion, Redondo BananaLeaf Restaurant offers a fantastic culinary experience with standout dishes like the Chicken 65 and a welcoming ambiance courtesy of the owner. While the location might be a bit tricky to find, the overall experience makes it well worth the visit. I look forward to returning to explore more of their enticing menu.
