Banana Boat will never be what it once was. Save yourself the humiliation and avoid this place at all costs. Management bans people left and right for the sheer hell of it. They screw over their staff who are losing loyal GENEROUS customers. There is a particular server there named Karina who has lied on my name and done whatever in her power to defame my character - and management loves the drama and just eats it all up. Karina’s attitude and threatening demeanor has left her own coworkers uncomfortable but they can’t say anything because they don’t want to lose their job. This server has no business working there and it’s shocking that she still has a job given the number of complaints from different people that have reached out to multiple managers. The lack of professionalism is disgusting and I will ensure more and more people are warned about this place. This is a discriminatory establishment that will continue to lose people that have been coming there for years. I am a local with LOTS of friends that have stopped coming here and refuse to fund this place due to what Karina Vega has put us through. Get rid of her, her own coworkers can’t stand her and have to just deal with it because she lies and will do whatever she can to have things her way. WAKE UP and trust your customers especially those that have been in the industry for 10+ years. What a shame to even have any connection to this place and to put up with the embarrassment you have caused my friends and I over multiple occasions due to personal issues. There needs to be proper training done- no people skills and a bitter attitude should not be part of the dining experience. If you want to go to a fun and welcoming place, Two George’s is right across the water. Hurricane Alley or the Boulevard in boynton beach where some of the same bartenders work. We come to see our bartender friends, not because we support what this restaurant has become. It’s truly sad what they will do to good-hearted people that mean well. There should be no tolerance for the behaviors of staff members that clearly do not belong in the biz. If there is any future comment suggesting I did something that DID NOT happen in this restaurant, you will have a lawsuit on your hands.
