Great place. Almost didn’t review it because i want it to stay hidden.

Everyone was nice over the phone, quick in person, but the two items I ordered (orange chicken and sweet and sour chicken) were both bland, and honestly the sauce, vegetables, and what little flavor there was in the dish were identical. The chicken itself was pretty tough and dry. The breading was crunchy but flavorless. The people were fine, but I'd avoid this place for food.

Great price and portions. Love that fried rice comes with the meal for no extra charge. Orange chicken says spicy, it is a little but still has the classic orange chicken flavor too.

I had a problem with Debra lindley the waitress I guess I cannot view my opinion as far as tipping and tonight I got spit in my face I was writing something down and my own opinion which is allowed and half the time I'm not even serious I was joking around but then she took it serious came attacking me as I'm a customer a paying customer I Love karaoke but spiring while yelling isn't appropriate as a waitress it wasn't addressed at nobody I have mental health issues half time I'm not even serious but yelling at me in front of crowd isn't professional I'm a jokester my man does tip but like I said me personally don't believe in tipping I'm myself is on low income I just love karaoke it keeps me from harming myself I love Susan she's darn good bartender I love mama Dee and Jordan as karaoke host I love the ballard Mandarin Chinese restaurant I have my bad days but don't appreciate being spit on when being yelled at...I'm a loving and kind person i dislike being judged for my mental unstablabilty i love singing

Ballard Mandarin is a neighborhood staple and their food, service and atmosphere are unmatched! Not only is their food amazing, but the staff are friendly and helpful. The bar has a great festive vibe and people having the time of their lives during Karaoke on Wednesday and Saturday. All of the dishes are amazing but our favorites are honey walnut prawns, broccoli beef and kung pao chicken. All entrees come with generous portions of fresh veggies.

My experience was not good. I called ahead to make a reservation and when I got there, they said they didn’t find my order after driving for almost 30mins. I had to wait for 53mins to get a new order, only for them to put it in a take away pack, when I clearly was seated to eat. The food was not up to my expectations and I had to trash it. Parking: About 12 slots available

I've been coming here for takeout for many years. Best Chinese food in the neighborhood, The restaurant looks dated, but don't let that stop you, everything, including the seafood, has been cleaned thoroughly unlike other places around. The food is excellent and service kind and fast.
