The food and service was amazing! Upon entering, there's a bunch of cultural pieces displayed alongside explanations for some of them!! I thought that was really nice to see!! The environment inside and outside were nicely decorated as well! Our server seated us at a table next to the windows and the views were amazing!! I saw duckies feeding in the waters below them and they disappeared and reappeared as they checked the water, it was funny hehehe. We were attended to quickly and the food did come out quick as well since it was 1pm and not busy on a Monday afternoon! :OOO I ate the Ali'i tasting for two and the spinach lumpia was amazing!! Very flavorful and the lumpia wrapping wasn't too crunchy. I got the Seoul Cheese steak and my fiance got the crispy lobster tacos!! The Seoul Cheese steak was good! It had a very interesting and unique tangy flavor due to the kimchi in the hoagie bun!! I did take a few bites of my fiance's Crispy Lobster Tacos and it was pretty good as well!! Oh my gosh, the fries are PERFECT!!! THEY'RE A PERFECT TEXTURE!!!! Bits of soft tenderness alongside crispy bits protruding all around the fry omg, it tasted amazing! ❤️❤️❤️ We didn't get any desserts but they do have a menu for that too! The bathrooms were clean too!! My experience here was great and it is a bit expensive so make sure to keep that in mind!!
Food was delicious. Coconut shrimp app was okay not the best, beef skewers were great had a lot of flavor. Salt n Pepper pork chop was slightly dry but the sauce with it was delicious. The Mai Tai drink is no joke.. wouldn't get it again way too strong.
The best spot for Sunday Brunch. Every seat has a great view. Buffet has great options for all.
I can’t recommend this restaurant enough! It’s not a 5, it’s a 10! The service from Mario was some of the best I’ve ever experienced. We had the edamame with spicy ponzu rub. Just the right amount of spice. I had the salmon with risotto. Risotto can be tricky, there’s was so creamy and flavorful! I got the Mai Tai to drink, 10 stars! They don’t use any juice, so it’s string with a beautiful flavor. If you haven’t been there, you need to!
It’s the same old happy hour food just done pretty well with an amazing view and great service
Stunning sunset view of downtown SD with a very good meal! Fun, Polynesian decor restaurant with fun menu. We did the restaurant week menu and enjoyed every dish. Farm salads were nice with fresh berries. I had the salmon, very good, fresh, tasty, nice fruit sauce. My daughter had the Korean fried chicken and said it was perfect (and she knows her fried chicken dishes). We had strawberry shortcake for dessert, and the chocolate version was the best. Huge, fun drink menu. Lively bar. Great place to take visitors.
Of course, the mia tias! ( I had a virgin strawberry daquri). The calamari and rib appetizers were fabulous!!!!
