Bakery Mocana

I stop by here for my midday pick me up, they have excellent batido de pina and I like their ham and cheese stuffed bread. They fry the jam before they put it in so it's creamy cheese with salty, crispy ham. Only $1.50 for that so it is a good to-go meal for the 3-5 pm hunger pangs I have. Also, the people behind the counter are really sweet, always saying hello and they seem to know everyone in the neighborhood

Asked the lady behind the counter if food was fresh, and she said yes!!! Got home donuts hard as rocks will never go again. Food is not fresh here!!!!

MOLD MOLD MOLD !!!! .. avoid this place at all costs! this cake was specifically for my moms birthday and they failed! Go to Estrella Bakery on 140th and broadway, pastries are way more fresh and cakes are fresh too! Get your moneys worth

Die Brötchen und Croissants waren lecker, die Donuts waren anscheinend vom Vortag und nicht besonders frisch.

Bought their cheesecake for a friend and I and was so embarrassed when we bit into the slices. They felt (and tasted) like rubber. We returned to the store, hoping to receive good customer service, but were disappointed.The attendant behind the counter argued that the cake was "fresh," involved her co-worker who was sweeping into it and stared at us like, "Why are you still here?" So, we left....FOREVER.

I bought some Guava pastries & a muffin but wasnt all that. Not the spanish flavor & quality I'm used to.
