Baker & Able

Nothing spectacular, just a nice bar with pleasant views. Great staff, well behaved clientele. An adult made the menu, so it's not awash in silly victuals and libations. Probably will be impossible to get into next year. Annndddd.... Baker and Able were two early monkey 'astronauts '.

I would give no stars if possible. The Baker and Able behind the bar tonight were the worst kind of monkeys I’ve ever seen trying to tend bar. They were angry hen-pecked contrarians and getting any service from them was not worth the effort. Beautiful view. Worse than terrible service. Don’t waste your time. We had a wonderful dinner downstairs then went up for a night cap. Bad idea. Ruined evening. Go anywhere else! You’ll never find worse bartenders.

This place ONLY gets a one star for the amazing view. But that's it. We had a large party PRE-RESERVED for a specific area. They "forgot," which I realize can happen, but never have I seen an establishment not ask patrons to move or wait 30 mins and ask. Most of the older ladies had to stand, with no seating. Then the drink orders. I've never seen a beer or water take over 30 minutes, when a pla e is not that busy (our "reserved" area only had 3 patrons, when we were 30 people). And the food. Yuck! The charcuterie board took 45 minutes to come out (nothing is cooked, all pre-ready), and it was not good at all - they are trying to hard to copy Europe, but a purce of cheddar cheese only ¼ inch by 2 inches is $4! So, we got the pretzels with cheese (that's hard to mess up, right?). The cheese tastes like the cheap cheese you get with nachos at the theater. No, we will not be back. Too many other places give great customer service and serve food that patrons will pay plenty if it's worth paying for.

Great place for a private party. Fantastic rooftop view of Huntsville Downtown. I was there for a private event and they did a great job with the food and the service. Bartenders were on it. Enjoy!
