Not really sure why there’s so many negative reviews about this place. I’ve been going here for a while and every time I stop in the service is always great. I see a lot of reviews about the place being dirty but I think that’s just the nature of being in a place that’s not all shiny and white. Of course it’s going to look a little dingy and there’s going to be crumbs and what not in places. It’s a BAGEL place. By no means are they at all unsanitary. Every time I call in an order they’ve always been extremely kind. This place, obviously, does get busy. If you don’t want to wait, call in your order or dont go at a busy time. I’ve always had super quick service whenever I called in or stopped by when it’s not busy. The place is cold during the winter because their heating always breaks. It’s not the workers fault and unfortunately they ALSO have to deal with a cold shop but on hours on end. Take it up with the owner. This place is staffed with really friendly, hardworking, students and people. The atmosphere is warm and has plenty of spots to duck away in if you need to get work done. One thing I will say is that the one time I ordered an iced chai latte, it was pretty bad compared to other places but I also ended up accidentally dropping it all over the floor. One of the workers immediately came over with a mop and was super kind and reassuring because I was extremely embarrassed. They wouldn’t even let me help clean up MY mess haha! They were super nice. I love this place and I hate to see rude reviews by entitled customers

Great to have a bagel away from the northeast but this was probably the slowest service I’ve ever seen for bagels. We didn’t even get things from the grill, we got a bagel with veggies and egg and one with lox and were waiting 30 minutes. Bagels weren’t great either but this was noon on a Sunday (maybe there wasn’t a fresh batch) Also the kitchen and prep area was pretty gross. No wonder why none of the employees looked very happy. I hope the owners invest some thought and money into improving/cleaning the workspace and workflow. This place could be great with just a little bit of work!

Not the Bagelworks you remember. Quality and service have dropped exponentially. With their price increases value is also not there.

Good bagels and good vibes

Stopped in this weekend to Grab a dozen bagels and some cream cheese. They were busy as expected on a Saturday. The Staff that assisted us were friendly enough, nothing spectacular but nice. The bagels on the other hand were burnt and crunchy. I have grabbed bagels here a few times and never been blown away. The flavors are also very limited. The bagels we received today were not golden brown and chewy they were crunchy and dark brown on the top. Super disappointed. We didn't realize how overcooked they were until we were down the road. The store itself is tight and never much open seating so it's much easier to just grab and go. Parking here is also a nightmare but understandably that's not their fault. We paid $25.00 for a dozen bagels and a container of cream cheese so I would say their prices are fair. I love bagels and would love to give a glowing recommendation but they really need to focus on their quality control.

I waited 25 minutes for two bagels: toasted w cream cheese, and toasted w avocado. They gave me the wrong bagel but based on other reviews and the other customers slowly getting more impatient, I just took it.
