Bad Daddy's Burger Bar

I highly recommend you do not eat here unless you have an hour to waist for cold food. Perhaps it would have been different if I sat at a table instead “saving time” by ordering ahead. I showed up at the time texted to me. None of the five people I asked would check on my order after waiting for 10 minutes. I was told they would call me. Only after the people who place orders after I showed up got their food could I get a person to check and find my food sitting right there. An hour after ordering I had a truly disappointing meal. I know Airport food is expensive and low quality but the staff took this to a new low.

Great great place... The steroid burger was off the charts good.

Tater tots ordered with our burgers were cold when they arrived. Server knew this immediately when I requested replacement. Why serve them if you know they are cold?

I was between flights when I arrived at Bad Daddy's Burger Bar. I arrived at the Take Out counter. There was a man there that was waiting for his order which was handed out with someone else's order. He was waiting for them to make his order again and he told me I have to scan QR code to place an order. I was trying to find out how long it will take once I place the order. The waitress's passed by and said Order there and pointed at the sign on the counter. 3 different waitresses came by and they would not help or stay long enough to help. I placed my order and waited then I was telling other's to scan the QR to place the order, soon there were 5 of us waiting for our order's (10 mins). We placed the order and the restaurant has collected our money from the app. So if you are running out of time waiting on your order because of your flight leaving, you have now paid for food that you can't wait for or miss your flight

Can’t believe how rude the one server was to people waiting to get a seat. She kept barking at people from the bar area the whole hour I was there. Asked for burger medium well and it was red inside and not even hot. Fries were soggy. My own waitress was nice but forgot the second drink I ordered. Two drafts and a plain burger came to $37.

The service was excellent and the food was good. They were extremely busy but kept everything moving.

One of the worst airport dining experiences I've ever had. Ordered our food from the take out window at the Charlotte Airport. No one manning the window, so we had to order through the app you get from a QR code sitting on the counter. Annoying. They got so far behind, they pulled the QR code off the counter right after us so no one else could order. Took 45 minutes to get our order. Employees were hiding behind a screen not wanting to deal with customers. A couple were coming out the door next to us to go on break in the middle of a rush. One cook only, who must've been new, seems she was only working one order at a time. 15 or 16 orders were up waiting to be filled. We wanted to have a leisurely lunch before we boarded our plane, but got our food so late we almost had to abandon our order just to catch our flight. Several orders sat on the counter the whole time, apparently abandoned by those who placed their orders earlier. We were going to eat it on the plane, but after tasting the food, we decided to pitch the whole order (a 34.00 loss). I couldn't subject the whole plane to the overpowering onion smell, and the whole order was extraordinarily greasy and cold. Ugh. On a good note, there seemed to be 2 employees doing most of the work. They just had no hope of keeping up. Kudos to them for trying. The rest should be fired. Bad service, really greasy, overpriced food. Avoid at all costs.

Worst airport food experience I have ever had and I've traveled quite a bit in past 10 yrs domestically and internationally. Had 45 min in between flights. Did the walk up window thinking that would be faster then sit down service. Several waitresses were standing around behind a screen that blocked the seated patrons from kitchen, standing around and doing nothing and Alternatively walking out of the restaurant seemingly going on endless breaks out of the restaurant and into the airport. Cook was 15 orders behind, filling one at a time, skipping tickets that were up forever (from the walk up window we could see this). Finally one of the waiters sternly addressed the cook saying everyone was waiting 45 min for food. 10 min after we did our order using a QR pad (as no waitress could be bothered to attend the walk up window) they snatched the order pad up so no more orders could be done. I personally turned away at least 10 other potential customers. After leaning in the window we yelled for help and were given our 6 sliders and fries. This was just after a nice older couple had to abandon whatever they ordered so as to not miss their flight. We ran to our gate opened the food and discovered the cold hamburgers were so covered with greasy onions they were inedible. The fries were warm and we ate 1/4 of those and had to get on plane. The burgers were so greasy and slimy we had to pitch them. $30 of food in trash. I will never eat at Bad Daddys again. Wish I would've had 2 extra min to take a photo to show how gross it was but didn't want to miss my plane. You need a new cook and to fire 2/3rd of your waitstaff and start over. Ugh

got the Bacon Cheeseburger on Steroids this was an ASTONISHINGLY good burger like wow I knew what I was getting into when I saw the toppings, and decided to add a fried egg on top of it, but my goodness the one thing that I think could've been better about this burger were the buns - they were a bit too soft, which made them kind of blend in to the rest of the burger rather than stand out. also they might've been a bit too small to contain the rest of the burger. the only other thing I have is I wish there was a bit more mayo on here other than that, the inside of this burger was all-time good starting with the patty - this might be the best beef patty I've ever had in a burger It was so incredibly thick, thick enough that it rivals and maybe even surpasses the thickness of a double burger with two separate beef patties. In addition to that, I had the option to pick how I wanted it cooked - where I picked medium - and this was absolutely an incredible decision because this patty was so perfectly juicy without being too soft A lot of places will automatically cook your burger well-done for food safety reasons, but I'm really glad I was able to customize this to be medium - and this resulted in an unforgettable experience - especially when you think about how incredibly thick this was the bacon was also so good - it was incredibly crispy - and had deep flavor to it. I was quite impressed that the jalapeno bacon actually managed to have some spice to it. In addition, the pieces were large, and there were 6 of them in total, which meant each bite of the burger was given a beautiful-tasting crisp texture The fried egg added as a perfect topper to the patty - it was somewhat leaking, but combined so well with the rest of the burger to add just that additional soft egg-like flavor that I love. Giving props to myself on that fantastic addition even the lettuce and onions were really good in this burger! if all of this wasn't enough - it also came with a side of tater tots - and a lot of them While I wish these were warmer, and slightly more oily, I did absoutely love the crunch of the breading on these, along with the soft interior these tots were a great break from the traditional default fries that typically come with a burger i do wish they had their own dipping sauce rather than the default kraft mayo in a tube This meal was especially impressive because it didn't cost *that* much (about 20 dollars in total) but the portion size was quite massive The burger, and especially the meat, was pretty huge - big enough that I couldn't eat it with just one hand at the start I would have to say the entire meal lands over 2000 calories - which is quite impressive this meal was so good that even though i was in a pretty suboptimal eating environment (an airport lounge seat with no table) it was still incredible overall, a near perfect burger, and a pretty fantastic overall meal. 9.15/10

Had been looking forward to trying this place on my long late evening layover. Arrived to the host station at 2100 when they supposedly close at 2300. Was informed by an employee that “because orders are taking 40 minutes to come out, [they] are closing early.” As one of the few later options in the airport don’t close early. Also, instead of closing early, just tell me you aren’t taking my food order for 40 minutes so the kitchen can catch up. My wife and I would have been fine ordering a few drinks and waiting to order food until 2200. I’m sure we’re not the only ones turned away this evening who would have been fine with a few drinks before ordering dinner. Poorly handled situation that disappointed a lot of travelers. Went to a different restaurant bar that was also busy for late night and the server kindly told us she was busy and would be with us in a bit. About 10 minutes later she took our order and we are happily not patronizing your business.
