Came during weekday lunch and it took us a while to get seated despite the place being empty because there was no one in the front of the restaurant.Food also took a long time to come out. We ordered mini batchoy, grilled pusit (squid), and chicken inasal. The batchoy was such a comforting dish especially on a cold day: hearty, garlicky, and flavorful. Inasal was a bit on the drier side but at least came out steaming hot. Grilled pusit and rice came out cold. I liked the taste of the squid but the stuffed onion was so overwhelming that it made the experience unpleasant. Overall, food was pretty mediocre except for the batchoy soup.
I LOVE everything about it, the soups is not salty anymore! #wehadthesalosaloplatter #pancitbihon #halohalo
We came in when it was slow, there were two tables occupied. We sat for 15 minutes waiting for the server to bring water and the menu. I got the menu myself. She never came to the table. We wasted our time waiting and left without eating.
I am wanting to meet up & interview J.P. Ledesma for my food/travel blog. I heard about you from my cousin Bambi ( Christine ). I am also Ilonggo from Jaro. I plan to be in your area 8/29. Heard about your awesome batchoy.
Food was good but pricey...more expensive than what other Filipino restaurants charge.
Cure for the homesick Bacoleños.
