The minute you walk in you know you’re going to have a top tier experience. The food is carefully crafted for flavor and presentation. The atmosphere and decor really help elevate the experience as well. Go see Clauceny, wonderful server that will take care of you!

The ambiance the this place was amazing. The hostess was an angel. My sister and I flew to Orlando from out-of-state and mistakenly made a reservation at the wrong restaurant thinking it was "Bacan." After a very short wait she was able to seat us. Or server was ok. She did not go over the menu with us. We had to get her attention whenever she would pass out table to ask her about certain entrees. I felt like we were bothering her. She did suggest a wonderful cocktail. Our food was great. It was important to me that she explained the menu because I overheard the server attending to guest next to us explain the menu to them. As he explained the menu (as I'm eating) I heard him say the the duck breast (that I was eating) was not well done. I don't eat meats that are not well done; I avoid steak for that reasons. If I were made aware of this, I would have chosen another option. My sister asked her about dessert and she gave a terrific suggestion.

Fabulous experience. Very pricey but worth the money. The grounds of hotel are gorgeous. Love all the modern touches of the hotel.

Had a great experience who was above average.But there were some fall backs. We had the bread which was good.The compound butter was lacking salt.The bread was salted but not consistently so often.You got bread and butter without any season. I had the pork belly, which was also nice. Flavors were good.No complaints. The octopus was incredible, and the lobster tacos were phenomenal. Going to the entrees, most everything looked great.The burger, the fish, almost everything was on point. I would honestly eat mist everything again. There was only one fall back. I ordered the duck, and the shaved truffles that were on top were old and stale. I passed a few around to the table. And everyone agreed tasted like leather had had a still rubbery taste and a bitterness to it, not familiar with shaved fresh black truffles. Unfortunately, this ruined that dish. Of course I'll be back but I just won't order anything that has shaved truffles.

Somewhat dissapointed on this visit! In the past, we have enjoyed the ambiance, amazing food and personable service. This time, the server (Sabastian) was quite direct and never engaged with us in conversation just basically wanted an order immediately. This happened throughout our dining experience, and had a negative effect on our dining experience. When our dinners arrived, the brocolli side dish was cold but the short ribs and my wife's filet were perfect! We opted out on the dessert as nothing really sounded appealing and ended with the check. $20.00 for a Crown Royal and Sprite!!!! My wife and I eat out often, including high-end steakhouses, and other Tavistock restaurants. Canvas charges $13.50 for the same and just down the street. This is a bit extreme for a single pour with soda, so buyer beware!

Wow! Bacan is absolutely amazing, from the elegant decor of the restaurant, to the beautiful open kitchen, and let’s not forget about the killer bathroom lighting . The food is of course to die for. We came for our anniversary, they gave us a card and wished us a happy anniversary open arrival which we loved! For food, we started out with smoked pork belly. The presentation was amazing, my Fiance liked it more than myself but we anticipated that because smoked anything gives me heartburn so it was more for him anyway, but it was still yummy. Next was the scallops, they were cooked to perfection, only complaint was the dish was $28 and came with only 2 scallops, now don’t get me wrong, we know what we’re getting into when we go out to eat, but come on, give us three and let us fight over the last one. Next was the Papa rellena, which we were told was a new menu item, I would rate it a 6.5, a little underwhelming for me, my Cuban Fiance loves Papa rellena so he ate most of it. For entrees we got the skirt steak, which was pretty tough, and I got it medium rare, we usually get outside skirt, maybe this was inside and that why it was tougher and chewier, definitely should’ve gotten the ribeye, but the flavor was still good. My Fiance for the short ribs which came with an arepa and when I tell you this was the most tender short rib we had ever had, the bone almost fell out while I out my fork in it. It was amazing!!! For sides we got truffle potatoes which were whole potatoes, I was hoping for mashed so was a little bummed but my own fault, maybe I misread, broccoli which had a miso sauce on the bottom, one of my favorite dishes of the night to be honest, lastly were their “famous” mint peas. I’m gunna be honest these were so lackluster, mint is not a seasoning, it’s an herb, they tasted like a can of peas that someone opened next to the mint, we added salt which helped, but like still mint peas, and I love peas. They gave us a dessert for our anniversary, not totally sure what it was, I’m not a huge chocolate fan so I didn’t eat much of it, but the presentation and thought was so sweet! We have been to Bacan and will absolutely be back, if you’re looking for a great upscale date night this is a great option!

Wonderful restaurant with an amazing atmosphere. And food and service are 5 stars.
